LYME RESULTS and LABS??

Okay.. so my lab results for lyme just came back neg.  This was just a reg lab and wasn't IgeneX.  I am curious how common false negatives are.  So I'm posting this poll.. :)

What were your lab results?

Dont trust the regular titer. You have to at least do the western blot through Igenex! I did a normal test and not even 20 days later I went through Igenex with a positive western blot, positive CDC and a few others.

It's hard to vote since I don't fit into your categories neatly. However, if you read these forums you will find that Igenex tends to give more positive-like results, as was my case.  Trying to validate any of the test results is quite vexing.

I agree with jackie Igenex looks for antibodies which helps the dr know if you have been affected by lymes at some point.  And with clinical findings this all puts the puzzle together.  At least it did for me and my infectous disease dr.
