CD57 & Lyme Disease

What is the time lag for CD57 levels to normalize after acute Lyme infection?

I had a bull's eye rash in May and was diagnosed with Lyme based on the rash.  Subsequently, I was treated with antibiotics for 2.5 months.  After one month of treatment, my CD57 count was 16.  Two months later my CD57 was 50; at the same time I was given the two Western Blot tests with came back negative.  I've never had any symptoms associated with Lyme disease.  But I can't get a clear answer on whether or not my Lyme's disease was effectively treated, or if this is just a time bomb and one of these days I'll start getting symptoms.  Any words of advice?  Could it be possible that I had an acute infection and it will take a while for my CD57 levels to come back to normal? or am I deluding myself?  Thanks.

I don't know the answer either but I would think it would take a little bit of time for the immune system to recover.

Not sure.  I know someone who was treated by an LLMD, pronounced cured, and STILL has a low CD57.  The LLMD said maybe it's just normal for that person.

In the old days, who ever checked CD57 anyway??  Maybe some of us have a low count and others don't?  I don't know.

If you find out, let us know, okay?  Because I have the same questions you do!
