please get a test done through iggenix. also find a lyme literate doctor, i use one in seattle. im sorry i am a chronic lyme patient and am on the mend currently. i wish you luck.
Lyme tests are very inaccurate, and lyme diagnosis should be clinical diagnosis. Google lyme, as ilads.org, and LymeDiseaseAssociation.org for more info. Any mental illness could be due to lyme.
I had migrating rash on hips and abdomen with lyme until effective treatment. I had multiple tests done, too, all negative, even lyme. Lyme test was positive after I had effective treatment (4 years later). Had neurological lyme with wild symptoms neurologists contributed to be psychiatric. I would freeze alot, and get into hat bath. Then I would feel ill and weak. I became extremely sensitive to sounds, visual movements and flashing (on tv, seeing people, lines on road, trees going by). For a long time I couldn't tolerate touch.
Are you seeing a doc who treats many lyme patients? Do you know others in area with it, and can ask who they see??
Good luck! Even if it is not lyme, keep going until you find the right diagnosis (I had many wrong ones). I still deal with depression and anxiety from it, but am much better with physical symptoms.
Also, now I feel if dr.s can't find cause to at least try an antibiotic for a month and see what happens. If you feel worse it can be from die off of lyme and it releasing toxins. That would be a sign.
