Lyme and mouth

Anybody with tender roof of mouth like when you burn it with food?
Also burning toungue sometimes....
My entire mouth hurts

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. My tongue and mouth were extremely sore and felt burned for a week after I started taking Flagyll...the third of four antibiotics that have been phased into my treatment. I do think it relates to yeast unfortunately. I have been lucky enough to not experience a 'typical' yeast infection during my 4 months of treatment but I experienced the same soreness and burning vaginally a couple weeks after my mouth stopped burning. NOT comfortable but it subsided without treatment. I think it was just part of a herx response for that med in my case. Good luck! I hope yours resolves naturally like mine did!

The roof of my mouth hurts sometimes but there are many times that my tongue hurts. In my case it was due to a yeast infection. I took nystatin pills which helped a lot.
