Transfatty acids & borellia

Hmm, I just discovered that borellia has a need for transfatty acids.  It has its own enzymes for hydrogenating other fats, but I imagine it would just love to dispense with the necessity of that and simply make use of what we foolishly take in.  That ought to be a good reason for the Lyme afflicted to get off the crisco and margarine.
