Antibiotic challenge
I'm going to have an IGenex western blot and I want to make the best of it. Are antibiotics always discontinued prior to the test with an antibiotic challenge? If so, for how long? Or do ya'll think it makes a difference if I just continue the antibiotics throughout? Has anyone had a successful antibiotic challenge?
Thanks! That interesting! I can recall reading somewhere how doxy is supposed to make the bacteria go into cyst form. I didn't know if it was true or not. Were you on any other abx?
