pain

hello gals & guys,  I can't figure this out!!!   following MRI results I now know I have some mild/moderate degeneration in cervical spine o.k. - I didn't have any neck pain untill after tick-bite [I have not been dx lyme] - I had slight shoulder pain on left side but just niggily!! - since tick bite and episode of very stiff neck - I have severe neck pain /shoulder pain on right side.  I can't decide if the pain is due to degeneration or lyme - I suppose I should wait to see what LLMD thinks about this symptom.   I know must of us here have done a lot of research and self diagnosis so I just thought I'd ask for your opinions.  I have gotten to the point where I am confusing myself!!!!

I have posted often here and always appreciate your opinions - actually my family/friends have ran out of opinions on this subject.!

I felt really good yesterday - almost normal - woke up this morning back to my other normal [ the person I have become over the last 3 years ].  fuzzy feelings/blurry vision/nauseous/etc....  that glimpse I had yesterday does give me a lot of hope though - I am still here - and I will get through this - as we all will.

I have neck problems.  I can tell you that the cervical spine problems can cause pain in the arms, neck, shoulders, clavicles, shouderblade areas, hands.  These are the areas the nerves send signals to.  So if they are compressed then it causes problems.  But....lyme can cause pain anywhere so it's really  hard to say.  Having more than one problem just adds more confusion.  I ended up having unnecessary surgery due to this confusion.

Hmm, don't know.  I haven't had any skeletal issues.  Someone else here can probably speak from experience.

And DO hang on to the thought of that 'good day', because they can come again.  Glad you had one!
