swine flu, etc

Hi everyone
I'm back for a couple more questions. I've been feeling pretty well but still having annoying tingling, eye issues and twitching. I guess I'm just getting used to my symptoms. I see my neuro may 12 to hopefully get tested.

Anyways, there is a confirmed case of swine flu at my college I attend. I was just wondering how swine flu (or any other flu for that matter) reacts with lyme disease. This may be a stupid question but does lyme make it more easy to get sick?

My other unrelated question has to do with some weird pain I have been getting. I woke up today with my back very sore..it pretty much went away after I got up and walked around a little. Also a couple mornings ago I woke up and it felt like I had a huge bruise on my right ankle. It hurt to walk for awhile but again went away as the day went on. I also get random spurts of pain in the soles of my feet. Does any of this sound familiar?

Just as a side note...I was in the library today and my cracking joints were going crazy. Even when I just breathed, my neck made a little cracking sound. I was hopping no one could here it!

My immune system seems to be pretty good strangely enough.  I haven't been sick all winter, besides one minor cold (knock on wood).  Besides what is going on with all this sensory ****, brain fog, and weakness I'd be really healthy! HA!

My immune system is pretty strong still, but I know someone with Lyme whose immune system is pretty run down:  I don't know what makes the difference in different people.  In the years since I got Lyme, I haven't even had the sniffles.

Sore soles can be a symptom of bartonella, a coinfection that sometimes comes with Lyme.  I had that for a while long before I was diagnosed, but never tested positive for bartonella, so don't know what it was.

Cracking neck and ankles -- absolutely.  I sometimes feel sore and achy in the mornings too -- can't quite correlate it in time with 'flares' of Lyme or die off of the bugs, but it must relate somehow.

It all sounds familiar to me.  My jaw makes cracking sounds that other people can hear.

The immune system is weakened by lyme and the co-infections so the body may not be able to fight off other infections very well.  This is why people with lyme can have infections like  EBV along with the lyme.
