The lymphatic system can be considered part of blood and vascular system and its disorders can be treated by a vascular surgeon. However, lymph edema is a complex entity. Hence, depending on its cause, it is treated by vascular surgeon, internal medicine specialists, cancer specialists/oncologists etc. Hope this helps. Take care!
