i know some of us find out what there having and a lot not but im sure everybody was thinking about baby names i choose mine wile i was still ttc but i think i will stick with it , but i still wonder what other good names are around so please share . i love for now the name Liv and Mai im almost sure im gonna use both off them but for sure i will keep Liv case huby are so in love with this name and with short names anyway cant wait to hear from u guys .
natashajay - In my case I had picked names out since I was 18 and every girl name I picked I made the mistake of opening my mouth and telling someone only for that person to get preggo before me and use either the whole name or part of it. The very first girl name I picked was Kara Shyanne....Shyanne got taken. I really like that name and then in 2002 I picked another one...Kaylee Faith Raihanna (Raihanna coming from my brother's middle name Ray and my cousin's little girl's middle name Hannah) only for my hubby's cousin's gf to take Kaylee Faith. Guess it worked out since I have boys and having another =))

I will tell you one I like but my hubby didnt cuz if he did and if we were having a girl this one would've been Takoda Daniell regardless of any dream...lol. But since he doesnt like it and if this one is a she instead of the he the name will be Kiera Serenity but for now he is James Ryan =D

We have decided to name our Little guy Shael John,, we had Shael pick out before we even got pregnant and John cause its my Grandpas name aswell as Boyfriends Grandpas.. also My boyfriend is the only male in his family so the only one to carry on the last name, so to use his Grandpas name in there to is pretty special...:)
I like Maddie sound very cute with Brown that is good name mmeriche but i think if u like Bethany u should stick with it even if is the same name u will find alot of other girls with any name u pick it may even make a connection between the little girls is cute they may be bff u dont have to tell the parents how i get to the name . good luck with finding a name and dont forget to post it once u have it !
one name i think would go nicely with brown is madeline :) maddie for short is pretty, too.
if you really love bethany, i say go for it. the couple next door wouldn't really know whether you had already picked it out before you met them, or not! plus, they may not always be your neighbor.. even if so.. i think it's okay to have two little girls with the same name living next to each other. you just do what you want ;)

what do you do when a name you really like has been used by the new couple next door? i met my neigbours little girl yesturday, she will actually be 1 yr old on the 30th of november but due to our lifestyles i guess ive only just met them...they moved in 2 years ago...anyhow i was considering Bethany and it turns out her little girl is called that...im soooooo stuck for names...i kinnda like Dixie but hubby hates it and i kinda like Isla Rose but hubby says it sounds like desert and keeps asking for a cherry on top!

Ty and congrats on the girl!! I wanted one so much but to be honest...I dont know if I would know how to take care of one...lol. It has always been boys so a girl would have definitely been different.

I am stuck with names!! LOL!! I have an Xavier, Izayah & Zaylin what will this little boys name be? I want another name with Zay but professional. My husband name is Geoffrey but I don't want to mess up my name patterns. (Jeffery) I'm so stuck.

Well the girl dream was just that cuz this little one is all boy!!! So James Ryan it is!!
We just found out we are expecting a baby girl so her name will definitely by Lyla Mae now =)

DH and I had names picked out but unfortunately some people in our family decided they liked the names too and used them. Which was very hurtful especially because they used it for their dog! So DH and I had to change them.
If it's a girl her name will be Avrie and we can't agree on a middle name.
If it's a boy his name will be Devin Clark. Originally the middle name was Brady but recently DH's uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma so Clark is for him.
We find out on the 22nd what we're having I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!

but i think that if we have a little boy it will be Arthur Manuel (Arthur = my granpa, Manuel = hubby's dad's name) But we also like the name Luther.. i guess we will know for sure when he is born.
for a girl, i had a thousand names picked out! but hubby REALLY REALLY wants to name our girl Abigail and i like the name Rose.. so she will be Abigail-Rose :)

My hubby and I kind of talked about it last night and for some reason I am kind of stuck on Avery for a girl with either Ann (my moms middle name) or Erin( my middle name and my husbands first name is Aaron) for a middle name. Aaron isn't sold on it so still no decision made. We have no boy names, but mmreiche I love the name Cade!!

id love to discuss names with hubby but hes in denial, or thats what he tells me when i ask if we can just talk about the baby.
if its a girl im torn between Talia Grace and Paigton Adelia, the only significant name here is Adelia which is my mums name.
if its a boy i like Alexander John (Ajay) for short, or Jonathan Scott
pretty boring names im guess, and all my idea, without imput from hubby i guess the final names will be quite different.
do any of you have trouble with names because of others in your family?
on hubbys side he has a cousin he last saw 16 yrs ago with no reason why they would meet ever again as the family are all quarrelling and his name is Alex so hubby did say no to Alexander when i mentioned it in my last pg, Ajay was also the name of a cousin who sadly died about 10 years ago in Canada in an auto accident, but he wasn't Alexander John

If we have a baby girl (I find out the sex tomorrow) her name will be Lyla. I have no middle name yet but it might be Mae after my hubby's grandmother. We have absolutely no boy names picked- any suggestions would be lovely!!!
It was funny for us. I had the name Kaylee Faith Raihanna (no not after the singer...is combo of my brother's middle name Ray and my cuz's lil girl middle name Hannah). I had this picked since 2003 when I got pregnant with my first son. Then February I saw an OB who suggested I get a hysterectomy due to complicatons of bleeding from fibroids and was begged to get a second opinion. Then (yes long story..lol) my cuz gets her tubal reversed and begs me to try with her for a year thinking if we had babies bout the same time it would be a great experience so for March and April I gave it an honest go. April I had a dream and told my mother-in-law about it. I dreamed I had a baby girl and named her Keira Serenity which was way different than the name I planned and I have no idea where the name came from. Well in May my cycle was a lil off so I decide we'd try (but not really try..lol cuz after 5 1/2 yrs of nothing I assumed I couldnt) after my cycle straightened out and wouldnt ya know...beginning of June I am pregnant.
So now we are at the point if this is a girl (I find out Tuesday at my 20wk scan) we are naming her from the dream cuz to me it kinda like an omen but if this lil one another boy then we decided to name him partially from his daddy and from one of my favorite names...James Ryan. So the names are ready but I have nothing else ready and havent even started buyin anything yet and the middle of Feb is coming soon. Although my due date is March 3 the doc is already planning an earlier c-section and it feels like I dont have nuff time..lol.
