Discomfort in pelvic area

Hey again ladies, 1st time mom jitters but I know I'm in the right forum lol!  Im in my 13th week and experience pelvic discomfort/pressure whenever I get up suddenly or sit down, Is this normal? Have any of you had a similar experience? I learned from the literature that the pladenta should be taking over anytime now, but I feel like my baby is still in my pelvic area, so I fear I may be carrying low. My next appt is Oct 17th but I dont want to over think it. Dont think I have the bump yet as I always had a pre-preg stomach lol!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!1

i have experienced similar discomforts.. lower back/tailbone pain, and round ligament pain. it has been better the last week or so, but i think i recall it starting around 14 weeks? i noticed it when standing up, or after lying down for an extended period of time. i think all of these are part of normal pregnancy discomforts, and like lilbea mentioned, our bodies making room for our babies to grow! hope you feel better soon!

i've had that pressure feeling too.. and im assuming it's normal.. my doc didnt say that i was carrying low or anything like that - he actually said that everything is where it's suppose to be.. i notice it more when i get up from a sitting position.. i feel "heavy" in the front.. you may be getting up too fast?? i noticed that when i get up slowly the pressure isn't that bad. the sitting down part - you'll learn to do it slowly.. the normal "bending" that we do when we get up or sit feels so weird, and that's because the baby is moving up into your tummy..
i'm a little chubby, but you can def. see my bump.. and feel it too..
if you were to lay on your back and put a little pressure right on your pubic bone and move upwards, you can feel the difference for sure.. it's a little rounder and tighter..

i'm pretty sure your doc will say that it' normal to feel what your feeling :)
we are growing babies!! they need room! lol
it's amazing what we women can do!!

best of luck!
