Movements

So how many of you have been feeling their baby's move??? I think I have a few times but I am still not certain. I am now in my 17th week and just wish I knew for sure. I have 2 children now but I havent been pregnant in 8 years so this feels new to me. Should I be worried if I am not feeling alot yet? I am not a big/heavy girl. I just thought I would feel more by now or atleast no for sure it is baby that I am feeling... Am I just being overly nervous???

We have been feeling and seeing the movements and kicks on the outside of the stomach for a couple of weeks now. I will be 22wks Thursday and am loving that we are noticing sooner this time. Daddy has gotten kicked a few times. Last night while sleeping he had his hand on my side and lil James Ryan kicked enough to wake daddy up and ask what...lol. He thought I was trying to get him up and didnt realize it wasnt me. Our little man has also had the opportunity to kick or hit his brothers as well. My youngest actually jumped up and said, "Momma, that was weeiiirrrd!"....LOL.

rbohl01 - It has been said that a woman can always tell when their vehicle is messing up before a man can because our hands are more sensitive. I actually believe that cuz we have proven it more than once and my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and cousin (a female) felt the kicks before daddy-to-be and lil man's uncles. Give it a week or two and your lil girl will be kicking him hard enough to get his attention real quick!!!

I can also feel kicks outside of my belly now but there is only one time i thought my hubby might be able to feel it. I put his hand on my tummy and when she kicked I asked him if he felt it but he said no. Maybe the reason I feel it from the outside is because I can feel it within too???

I am feeling the "kicks" for about 3 weeks now... so from about 17 weeks :). It started as a light flutterng and now I really feel it. It kicks me when I am eating or when I lie down... I think it doesn't like it when I stop moving :)...

@tiffh: I feel the same thing!!! At night, sometimes it feels like the baby is swithching sides and I feel either the head or the bottom... I am not sure but it feels strange as my belly seems to carry something heavy on one side.

I recently noticed if i feel baby kicking on the left side and I am lying on the left side, then I turn on the right side, I will feel something heavy and bulky pressing on my right side... must be the baby's head ??!

It feels really cute anyway and I always start giggling!

Oh and I started singing to it :P ...maybe it sounds silly now but it kicks when i stop singing so maybe it does hear something...

I can feel it on the outside of the belly also when I am patient enough to wait for a kick... too bad my husband isn't with me right now to feel the first shy kicks.

ill be 18 weeks on tuesday... still really havent felt kicks yet but i will be doing whatever, and feel almost like pressure or heavyness in my belly, then if i lie down i all of a sudden have a rock hard bump usually on my right side, then a while later pressure again, and my rock hard bump is gone.. lol i will only assume its the little one switching positions, its just funny i dont remember feeling that with my DD 7 years ago, but sure is a neat feeling.. anyone else feel anything like that..

I think posting this question totally jinxed me. Now I feel the baby all the time- especially during the night. I think she may even be keeping me awake at night!! Its a great feeling but I think I got a crazy one on my hands. During the ultrasound she would not sit still!!

I am 17+ weeks along and felt the baby move for the 1st time (for certain) on my man's birthday yesterday.  What an incredible gift our little one has given us!  I was working out and just got off the the elliptical, I laid down on the bench to do some light free weights when I felt our bean fluttering away.  I'm assuming exercise got it thinking it was in some kick-boxing class because it was going to town.  I love being pregnant!

yesterday was the first time that i have felt baby in the evening!!
i was eating hot n' spicy sunflower seeds and the baby was bouncing around in there!! it was awesome! i even held on to my bump and i felt the teeniest, tiniest "thump"! it was so awesome, i even teared a little bit! lol (these hormones are getting out of control, with the emotions) but of course when i told hubby that i could actually "feel" it, he wanted a turn... poor daddy didn't feel anything as baby just stopped for a minute.. but as soon as he took his hand off.... bouncy. bouncy baby went.

19 weeks today! :) just about half way there ladies!!!

i also noticed - this morning, that i can start to feel my hips change?? at least that's what i think it is.. kinda sore this morning - sort of feels like i have overstretched it..
any one else feeling that??

So last night I felt the baby stronger than ever!! It almost worried me to be honest. I was surprised to be feeling so much. It was no fluttering- these were definite kicks!!!
It made me feel better =)

at 19 weeks now.. the last three days i have felt definite kicks! it is such a beautiful feeling. i had some movement a few days prior to that, but then she was pretty quiet in there for a couple of days. my cousin who has had two babies assured me that it is normal to have days go by without feeling anything after the first movements are felt. the baby is still so tiny! once bigger it will be felt in patterns and much more strongly!

rest assured. i would say it was 18 weeks for me before i really felt anything. i felt a few things before, at around 16 weeks, but am now thinking that it was something other than the baby, like rumbling in my stomach or intestines (lovely!) :)

I am 15 weeks right now and while I only feel actually movements rarely I do feel pressure in different spots when I assume the baby is moving around.  I wouldn't worry though that you aren't feeling movement yet it happens for everyone at different times!

My baby is moving now as i'm typing. I did do the unusual I drank some coffee and thats not the norm. I have been feeling my baby move every since 15weeks. I have been pregnant 8 times & I have 3 boys. I think the feeling just comes natural. Push or wiggle your stomach TMI but right on ur goods. Lay down relax and concentrate. LOL!! Hopefully u will feel a flutter or a movement. Good Luck!!!

i'll be 19 weeks on friday :)
i have been feeling movement since about 15-16weeks..
i'm prety sure it is baby, as now im feeling those same little "gas bubbles" as definitate "thump, thump, thumps"
Dr. told me not to get too worried if you feel movement one day and not the next - as baby is still too small to feel every movement.
as the weeks go on, you will feel them more and the will start to develop a pattern of when you feel movement :)

I don't think I have felt any movement yet. I know I feel things but I think I am just hoping it the baby. I haven't felt anything strong yet that I know for sure is the baby. I am also 17 weeks but with my first baby so I am not sure what to expect either way.
