Pelvic pressure at 17 weeks? Is this normal??/

I am 17 wks 2days and began having pelvic pressure since this morning, only when I am walking though. I had a Dr.'s visit  last Monday, had a pelvic exam and she felt a cyst and suspect fibroids in addition to stating that the baby is fine but low. I am scheduled for an anatomical ultrasound at 20 weeks so I guess I'll find out more next month. My mom tried to assure me that the pressure is normal but I just wanted to know if any of you have experienced this as early as me or if this is just growing pains. I just assumed that the pressure comes during the latter weeks of the 3rd trimester.

I am 21wks 4days and I feel pressure every now and then. The baby is taking full advantage of the womb and I think he is practicing baby aerobics and when he gets low I feel the pressure especially while walking. Also, I had lots more pressure when I was dehydrated and doc said was cuz I was experiencing the Braxton Hicks contractions more due to the lack of hydration. I dont know if that is what is up with you but the pressure is definitely normal unless it gets painful or very problematic. I would definitely ask your OB as every woman is different and as is every pregnancy.

Congratulations on your little ones ladies!!!

I'm 19+ weeks along now & I've been feeling random pressure, aches and pains for a few weeks now.  I have had a miscarriage in the past so I was super paranoid, but my Dr. has assured me that this is all very normal.  Some days are worse than others, and some of my pains seemed pretty sharp but would go away within 10 seconds or so.  On the days that is seemed bad, I would just take it a little easier.  Gentle massage (w/o heat) and a warm but not extremely hot bath made it a little easier.  Hope this helps!  :)

Thanks ladies since this is my first as my last preg didnt go this far I question every major change, walking and bending can be so uncomfortable almost painful at times. I just want to know that the baby is fine, if this is what I have to endure I gladly do so once my pumpkin is well and is delivered full term. Thanks again for yr assurances. Much blessings upon you and your pregnancies. I pray you all deliver healthy, pleasant, full term babes who dont want to be bothered with late night feedings lol!!!

I think the pressure you are feeling is normal. There is alot going on inside of us pregos and I know if you are anything like me you worry about anything new you may feel. I have had some pressure on and off at times too. Nothing to worry about though- you will know a real contraction when it happens =)

having growing pains and aches today at 21w2d -- so you are definitely not alone. :) hope you feel better soon.. i am thinking a warm bath and heading to bed early tonight will be the trick for me. the pressure and discomforts are normal, but i am thinking that if it becomes unbearable you should inform your doctor, just to be on the safe side. just take it as easy as you can, hope this helps.
