SEX???

I'm 7 weeks today and last week the doctor OKed sex but I'm so nervous and I don't want anything to happen. Have you all still been BDing with your hubbies? I feel like I have all these extra hormones and sensations.., ya know what I mean ?

While pg with my second son my libido got so bad that I woke up at 2 in the am wanting a lil R&R with the hubby. That happened a lot and I thought it funny since I had no desire whatsoever with my first son. So far it is looking to be another interesting pregnancy as my libido has already spiked but I am prohibited from acting on it for now  =(

Enjoy the new found libido ladies...it turned out to be best times cuz you "feel" so much more (at least it was that way with me) (sorry if it was TMI..I tried to tone it down A LOT..LOL)

I am also in the just not feeling like it group...With my daughter I was the same way in the first trimester and then 2nd and 3rd trimester I had to have it multiple times a day.  So it is different for everyone, but just be sure to what is best and comfortable for you.

I have been too scared to do it since we found out I was pregnant...that and I totally don't want to.  DH is totally understanding about it and says we should wait until after our first appointment to ease all my fears.

lol!after i found out i was prego at 4wks we didn't have sex for 2 weeks.The first week becoz i got a yeast infection.The second week becoz i ddnt feel like it.We had sex last saturday and was it sore!I guess i was too nervous and it had been a while.We haven't had sex since then But i guess we should soon,the poor DH.But honestly,i don't feel like it.Hope it changes soon coz normally i love getting jiggy with it.lol

the only thing i seem to not have aversions to is sex lol the craving for it is wicked! lol hubby approves!! :)  although the craving for it is strong -  the actual deed is gentle :)

I agree, but to relieve your concerns get clearance from yr OBGYN,  otherwise it's perfectly normal. Last pregnancy the day before I took HPT we had the best sex ever but after finding out I started feeling discomfort in cervix most likely my mind. Don't feel bad even though most men don't voice it they are more cautious after finding out there is a pregnancy and tend to be more gentle and aware if you relay discomfort. My bf is 5 months and is tiring her hubby out, so if you feel hot let the steam off baby lol

Well aint I the deprived one! The doc says no to me having sex for a couple reasons. I am extremely high risk the whole pregnancy but worse in the first trimester. I also take prometrium vaginally and doc doesnt want the placement and effect to be altered from sexual activity. My hubby is wonderfully patient and understanding and I am counting down to hit the 2nd trimester cuz I am missing the interaction (not to mention my libido skyrockets during pregnancy).

This is my fourth pregnancy my second pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at around 5 weeks.  My first & third pregnancy all went well.  I have my fingers crossed this one will be great too.  I am 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant.  I found out I was pregnant at 11 days po.  Me and my partner have been having sex since.  Don't let it worry you.  A miscarriage happens for a reason!!!

we waited until i was 7 weeks along.. poor hubby had to wait three weeks and was practically begging me! the good news is that sex won't hurt your baby. i had a hard time trusting that, hence our three week break.. i am sure it would have been fine had we done it though. just be careful and do what is comfortable for you :)

Well df and i were trying not to have sex until we went to the doctor. That plan did not work out so well but we did make it 12 days with out doing anything. I was just to scared to do anything right away in fear of hurting the baby. I do not know what caused my body to form a blood clot between the fetus and my uterus wall which is what causes my miscarriage. I really dont want sex as much anymore and it must be the hormones. In a normal healthy pregnancy having sex will not harm the baby.
