Busy week

I started back at work on Monday. Genevieve did amazingly well at letting me take care of the other babies. She is actually the mellowest baby in our group. The only issue she is having is she hardly napped all week because the other babies cry quite a bit and are really loud. Hopefully she will get used to it.

She started rolling from her belly to back on Tuesday and is trying so hard to roll from her back to belly. I know its going to happen any day.

She had her 4 month check up on Friday and her doctor says she's perfect :)  Despite her spitting up all the time she has gained 2 1/2 lbs in 2 months and is up to 14lbs 12.5oz and is 24 inches long. We got the go ahead to start cereal and I'm excited for it. She watches us so intently when we eat and will kinda smack her lips so I definitely think she's ready.

I just can't believe how fast she's growing up. It makes me kinda sad.

Yeah I'm back full time. Hoping I'll get used to it soon and not be so exhausted.

Mizz it is a blessing I get to take her with. Not sure I'd be able to handle going to work if I didn't work at the daycare she was going to.

Kat that's awesome you can take him with you. How old is Kendrick now?

I take kendrick to work with me also since I do accounting and its a family owned bizz..kendrick is also rolling onto his back from his tummy and tummy to back and is drooling everywhere since he is teething...he is 17 lbs and 25 inches long lol ya big chubby boy !! But I feel the same he is growing so fast im getting in all of my cuddles in now before he doesn't want to cuddle with me anymore lol

You are very lucky you're able to take Gen to work with you, you get to keep an eye on her! Its sad when i think about going back to work, although it would only be a day or two a week. Are you back fulltime?

I know what you mean. My baby is 8.5 months already. It's so weird. Glad you had an easy time going back at work. It probably helps a lot that you can take your baby with you. Such a blessing
