Suggestions?

I have had the stomach flu since yesterday. I haven't been able to keep anything down. Today I woke up feeling worse, still not able to keep anything down, and I feel soooooooo dehydrated! I think it's partially why I feel so much worse. Any ideas of things I could do? How long should I let myself feel this way before I go to the dr?

If you think you are dehydrated you should probably go to the ER and get some IV fluids unless that's something they can do at your Dr office. You don't want to let yourself get too dehydrated and end up passing out. My husband did that once and when he passed out he fell and broke his nose. Have you tried a tablespoon or two of something like Power Aid or Sprite every half hour to see if you can keep that down? If not you could try that doing that and seeing if you keep it down before making the decision to go to the Dr/hospital. Stay away from water because that makes an upset stomach worst.
