So I joined a my gym for Kendrick and he loves it it's really great to see him interact with other babies he is like the youngest but definitely not one of the smallest I still can't wrap my mind around how and why he is soon big lol he weighed 22lbs and was like almost 30inches long and he check up but I mean football scholarship might be in the future hehehe...
so I have been thinking about fostering a baby when Kendrick is older I know gov has been taking money away bc people have been abusing it and omg there r so horrible people out there like I had to delete my Facebook off of my phone bc I couldn't stop crying one night when I read about this post about parents letting their baby die it was stop sad !!! I just want to give a baby a chance and I love to have that chance.I read about the process I'm just curious if anyone knows anyone that is a foster parent now or has been and could give me some advice.

Oh, and at 10 months old I think Bailey is weighing in at around 19 pounds. Could be a little less. Don't worry about your sons size, my nephew is 8 weeks older than Bailey and he is huge! Walking around already! But some kids are just like that, they all even out in the end.

Yay fostering babies in the future is def a goal of mine I also signed up to cuddle babies that were exposed to drugs in the womb and their parents are unfit to take care of them until they get help that situation is bitter sweet bc it's one of the most popular volunteer programs but not a lot of hospitals offer it but ya I would love to do that..Omg my baby seems so much bigger then your babies :/ idk y he is so big but I'm sure his weight will even out and I have a lot of tall people in my family like all of my uncle's are over 6ft

I actually used to foster 2 kids back in 2011, I would have them once a month for a weekend, a respite for the foster parents they lived with permanently. I'm in Aussie, and I had to do a fostering course, police checks etc, and also my home was assessed to make sure they would have their own room and beds etc. Once you enquire about it, they will be able to tell you the appropriate steps to take. Good on you, very rewarding work. And glad Kendrick is loving his gym!

That's awesome you guys joined a gym. Kids really like being around other kids. Plus it's so good for their social/emotional development. He sure is a good size guy :)  Genevieve will be 9 months on the 17th and on Tuesday weighed 18lbs 8oz and was 28inches long.

Oh! We finally hit 15 lbs yesterday! We are 6 1/2 months old. :)

I grew up around foster kids back home in Alaska. My mom was going to foster but we ended up moving too much. What kind of questions do you have?
