Is it me or does it seem like that the questions have slowed up in here a whole lot., Just seems like the topics aren't near as interesting, and they are not posted near as often. Today I was lokking, and seems like we go 2 or 3 days, since any new question are posted. Like I said maybe it is just me, if it is please say and i wll shut up. thank you...brian

Groups are growing. Some are very active.

I have been told there are no bans on Groups unless they are soliciting something. Have you seen some of the groups?

there were more people on med help in 2007, people were given more, i do not know how to phrase it maybe lattitude or more say, and they let us go on and on with a post, and now it is boring, someone gets upset over something and bingo it is deleted I remember when we really had spicy debates with the one who posted and they posted right back, and did not get mad about the answers look up my wife abuses me by jetex or i hate my mom another good one was a man that met his daughter for the first time in 17 years and he was thinking incest it went on and on, and i think all finally figured out he was baiting us it was just his way of playing games, and we got to say how we felt, now everything is deleted yes med help has lost a lot of members due to boredom,and people that cant accepta negative answers the ole members are leaving fast some of the people that posted an answer even got mad at another persons post and things got real good and the words flew yes i like a little spice in my life, i enjoy a good debate  to the good ole days when medhelp let us say what we wanted .  jo

I'm glad that you asked about lifting the political ban.  I'm sorry that MH hasn't answered yet.  I agree with the poster who mentioned all the things going on these days and we can't talk about them for fear of disagreeing with someone -- the health care issue being one of them, along with longer school days for our children?  Those are legislation that will ultimately affect every single American citizen in one way or another.............and there are so many other things as well.........

I dont think a political group would work as so many are afraid to voice an opinion, when they do they have been attacked, no point , it is possible that what is happening to America is okay they have made a decision they dont mind the Repealing of the  Constitution  and its like fighting a loosing battle , I have given up at least on here .....

It's a while since I've been on MH but only because of probs with my computer etc.
but anyways it's a shame about the political issue because it comes into many different catogories and discusions in lots of different ways. But it would be a great shame to let that spoil what we have here, well i think so anyways and i hope most of you think the same. There are ways in which to get around this if we try.

But it is difficult under most circumstances for people to be politically correct...If we can't have honest and interesting discussions about politics then I think that we let that move into other aspects of our discussions as we are afraid to be politically incorrect.....about all things.

I did ask MedHelp if I could start a political group, but so far they have not answered my PM requesting it.  I was hoping they would let us do that.  But, I haven't even received an answer to the question at all.  :(

You know what guys a group does not change the fact all cannot just have a debate here, you know it may work on the Social if it is about specific subjects like, healthcare, Iran, Afganistan, and let each have their own opinion, the problem only arose last time  when someone had an opinion and then was attacked for that opinion, remember the first Amendment..free speech that would actually be  a question from me , that our constitution is definatly being attacked , and what do members feel about it . I dont think me running a group would help what we need, good debates here on our Social forum and I suggest if anyone does get carried away, we ignore it, and not retaliate .

I don't see why someone can't start a political based group. Maybe medhelp would feel better about it that way, but then again maybe not. I think it's worth a try.
