The case was very interesting.....its too bad the Hollywood Police Department lost evidence, or the killer may have been brought to justice for the murder. However, he was already serving time and actually died in prison, so I guess that is about as much justice as one can ask for.
Thank you for posting this latest information, I had read about the case I am glad that there is finally closure, I have watched the Most Wanted programme regularly, John Walsh always seemed as if he had a boken heart, I hope he and his family find some peace now.it must have been particularly interesting for you as you were doing your degree in Criminal Justice.
I have my Bach Degree in Criminal Justice and so this case has been discussed a lot throughout my studies! It is so nice to finally hear that the case is closed!!!
I agree, at least they now know and have closure.
I remember that case because I was working part time at a Sears, Roebuck & Co. store, in another area of the country, when it happened. I remember everyone trying to imagine how something like that could happen in Sears - it just always seemed like such an innocent place.
That case sort of seemed to signify the end of that 'such an innocent place' kind of thinking.
I'm looking over at the TV right now as the new conference is being replayed...the mother and father; the cute little tike; the picture of the creepy guy – all so sad.
Thanks for sharing.
I remember watching the movie and it was so horrific. I have always admired John Walsh for being able to do what he does to bring criminals to justice. I'm so glad that they finally know for sure it was Toole. I remember when he confessed a long time ago and then recanted. I just wonder why it took so long for the family to finally let them know about the death bed confession, unless the niece was too young at the time to do anything about it. Anyway, glad it's finally out there and closure can happen.
maybe now they can have closuer whatever the hell that is.....
Yes, I read about it earlier today and it made me cry. I am so saddened by the tragedy they faced and the horrible way they murdered little Adam, may God bless him. I too admire John Walsh. He found strength in what happened to him to help others. May he and his wife finally find peace. I would go absolutely CRAZY if I ever had to go through what they went through. I cannot imagine anyone having the heart (or not having a heart, rather) to do that to a little boy or girl, or anyone! How awful! But it's truly amazing, everything that John has accomplished. May God bless him and his family.
I hope they can now find peace. What a sad tragedy to happen to such a great family
I'm glad to hear that. Have you ever seen the movie about Adam? It's so sad. I really admire John Walsh. He's done so much to help and protect children because of his own tragedy. Just google his name and you'll see what I mean. Now he hosts the America's Most Wanted show. John Walsh turned something tragic into something good by helping so many people.
God bless John Walsh and his family. God bless little Adam.
