BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS HERE!

I love to read.  And I love good book ideas from others.  How about we share our good reads here with a little about the book for others to see and to take into consideration next time they are at the library.  :>))

Today I finished Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith. It is a pretty intense read, and based on a true story. I'm thankful to not have been born in that time/place.

John Irving and Linden MacIntyre. I just finished Punishment and am starting The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto by Mitch Albom. I haven't read him before.

Steve Adler is back playing drums with Guns n Roses and doing fantastic!  They are all playing together again and we have been watching them on youtube!!

Yep, Kickstart my Heart was written after one of his overdoses.  He is clean now and living life.  In his book they use actual notes he wrote during those times.  Slash has a good bio out too and will start reading that when the weather turns to sh!t!!  My daughter loves Nicholas Sparks.

Oh, I bet Slash has a story to tell!  I know the drummer (think it was the drummer) from Guns and Roses had such a hard time!!  I've sure got a lot of good reading to do!

Oh YES!  I love Danielle Steel, very good.
There is another author who wrote a lot of books about North Carolina, I felt like I was there.  It is a very peaceful place.  At least compared to DC LOL

I have two books downloaded that I want to read.  One is on the best book seller in the top couple of spots and I think it is a murder mystery and the other was one that my sister loved and told me I MUST read it.  Pretty sure that was or IS on the best seller list too. (or what is that, that top 10 book thing they put in the paper)---  anyhow, Truly Madly Guilty (Liane Moriarty) and the one my sister recommended "The Nightingale" (Kristin Hannah).  I'll let you know when I finish one.  I'm reading the mystery first.  :>)

I am a Danielle Steele lover!  I also love the bio's about the rockstars too.  Nikki Sixx had his Heroin Diaries published and that book was to die for.

Oh my---  love Motley Crue!  I'm an old 80's glam rock girl, ha ha.  I think we've talked about that before DS.  I can only imagine the stories Nikki Sixx could tell.  Wasn't that song "kickstart your heart" about one of his overdoses?  I will definitely check that out.  And Danielle Steele is another one of those classic authors at this point!
