Cell phone service provider, and anyone with an iphone?

I was just looking for some opinions.  Right now I have Verizon, but I am really hip on the idea of switching to AT&T and getting an iPhone.  My husband has heard some bad things about the actual phone service of AT&T, and having Verizon we do get good service.....I just really want an iPhone, lol.  I am looking for opinions from anyone who has AT&T or Verizon, and what you like, what you don't like and def. anyone who has an iphone...

I have AT&T and they have been wonderful.  We have more coverage than we did before with Sprint.  They are also wonderful when there are customer service issues.  We actually got our service when it was Cingular and then AT&T bought them and so far - great!  I would recommend them with no hesitation.

unfortuanatly I have had Alltel, Verizon, and ATT. My dh had Verizon through work so I have dealt with them through him and I have had both ATT and Alltel. I had AT&T until they decided they were no longer going to service our area and then I switched to Alltel.

Between Verizon or AT&T for my area I loved AT&T!. I think it really depends on the phone and your location. I don't have an Iphone so I can't help you there.

I have had a local carrier ALLTEL, but they were recently purchased by Verizon. I am glad to hear they have good service! Thanks guys!  :) Unfortunately, I no nothing! about an iphone.....sorry! :(

greg and i WERE going to switch to AT&T until we saw what they did with their iphones. they JUSt came out with the new models year later newer models that screwed the people with the now old models. which one of those people is his dad. he paid $600 for his iphone and is screwed royally now. if he wanted to update he'd have to pay the full price for it. which *****. soooo we're sticking with verizon. which we have GREAT service and reception. we have NEVER had issues with our phones. and in december we get to get our new phones.

I don't have an iPhone (yet) but I have had AT&T for years and I am pleased with the service and coverage.

I have Verizon, and get great service and reception.

Mr Peek switched to an iPhone last year, and he loves it.  It works well even in the wilds of the NC mountains.  
He has all sorts of cool apps.  

I'm extremely jealous, and plan to get one myself when my contract with V is up.
