My gosh, how could I ever choose? My favorite piece of literature of all time is The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. However, I read a lot of fiction too and currently the SERIES I could read over and over is the Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlene Harris.

How Green Was My Valley, by Richard Llewelyn. Wonderful story and beautifully written.
I have too many favourites! Recently I read Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom....it made me cry..so right now that is my favourite...but so was Desert Solitaire by Edward Abbey...a few months back...aaargh! I love reading!
Little Women 'By Louisa Alcott. read this as a child , it was about America it started my love for this country, it was about a family ,as I am sure you know and the civil war,The author painted this wonderful caring picture of Patriotism, and love ,it stayed with me all my life I still read it at times.
I love Les Miserables. It is super long (1100 pages), but so worth the read. Just thinking about it now makes me want to go pick it up again. BTW I LOVE the musical too....
A close second would have to be East of Eden by John Steinbeck...
