I think Dr. Rey will be divorcing his wife very soon. I'm sorry, but she's a beotch. She can't be happy with a 9000 sf house? She has to look at a new house, behind his back, that has over 10,000sf, because it will be near her parents. Her reason for "needing" the new house? (which is listed at over $9 million)

It may not be to you, but to me it is like eating an oatmeal raisins cookie (my favorite) I usually watch the show eating ice cream or dinner. Thing is, my aim is at the reality of the show in the sense of how much it can change a person by bringing up their self esteem and confidence. The show makes me want to look better, put on make-up (which I kindda dislike a bit) and also helps me to see that in reality, there are more than a few thousand women who want to change their appearance. There number of unhappy people in America is incredibly high. As a woman, I sympathize with them. So, yeah, the how may be frustrating to watch at times, but it can be fun and entertaining, and funny too.

i just can't watch it when it gets gruesome. not being a medical professional, it makes me squeamish, and i am always shocked how revealing people will let these programs get. i wouldn't want my surgeries filmed.... but to each his own.
It is't sad to watch something that relaxes you. I love the show and I love Dr Rey and the rest of the doctors. If I were to have surgery, they would be on my list. After all, that's what they do the show for, right? To gain more clients and bring up the ratings? lol
It's just fun entertainment.

I love the show. And I hate the drama she brings. She is very spoiled. She always complains about him not being home yet she spends millions on whatever the heck she wants. How does she do it? Because Rey is never home, and where is he? making money so she can spend it and then complain some more. I like his personality. He seems very passionate about his job. Is he from Brazil? He talks a lot about his family taking him to America and blah blah blah, so he obviously wasn't born in US.

i'm sure there is more to the story, of course, that is never the way to approach your spouse with a decision, but i don't think the idea of moving itself is wrong.
my husband makes the same complaints, so yes, i would take it with a grain of salt. i think for some men it is a source of pride, "my wife won't settle for less than the best -- sigh-- so i have no choice but to make all this money for her", as if.

Haley used to not bother me either, but this season she certainly does.
She does have an equal right to decisions...but she has told him that he has NO say in how this will all go down. She wants to move, and he is to provide the $$ and buy the new house she wants, after spending $1million on the new kitchen last year.

i've only seen it a couple of times, but hayley didn't bother me at all. and just because she has a 9000 sf house doesn't mean she is happy or that the house is what should make her happy. and since her husband works such long hours (i've got one of those too!), and if she doesn't have a sitter, she is basically trapped there. so i don't think it is unreasonable to find a house near to her parents for the company and to have a sitter. as far as looking behind his back, it doesn't sound like they see all that much of each other to have him along. what is the harm in looking? also, she may be a stay at home mom, but california is a community property state. that recognizes the home contribution of mom, so in effect, she has earned half that income. so since they are in a married partnership, she has an equal right to decide how to spend their money.
I cannot stand Hayley either. And is it just me or does that girl need to put some meat on her bones? She is so skinny she looks sickly.
