vacation plans

hi all,

just looking into planning our summer vacation, we usually go to ocean city MD or virgina beach, looking into the jersey shore, has anyone either been to ocean city NJ or wildwood NJ, if so which is better, we like the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk etc...

trimper rides....I spent many a dizzy evening on the trimper rides when my kids were young.  I also like west ocean city....lots of fun places to go. I'm sorry about you're uncle.....hopefully you'll get back to "the ocean" one day.

I love ocean city MD have vacationed there since I was 9 years old. Had an uncle I was very very close to that lived in west ocean city, recently passed away. devastating to me it happened 2 years ago and have not been down there since, we always stayed right on the boardwalk at worcester street, my aunt and uncle managed trimper rides, have you every heard of them

i am hoping and looking forward to getting a kidney this spring or summer that would be a great vacation from dialysis!!!!!!!

Forgot to mention, Ocean City, NJ is a dry town so if you go and you enjoy a drink on vacation make sure you bring some from home.

We go to Wildwood every summer with my folks and siblings.  We stay in Wildwood Crest but in walking distance to the boardwalk so the teenagers can walk there.  In my opinion the beach is much nicer in Wildwood, much more room for laying out especially if you have a lot of baby gear.  Whenever we go to Ocean City we end up having to step over people on the beach to get our little bit of sand.  Word of warning...Wildwood proper is a little seedy and the boardwalk has a carnival atmosphere.  If you go to Wildwood stay in the Crest.

Wish I could help but hubby and I live in OC MD during the summer so have never been to the jersey shore

We go to Wildwood every year for the past 10 years.  

Send me a PM if you'd like..... but we've not done  Ocean City one yet .. you can take a Ferry across from MD to NJ if you want to make a daytrip and go see Wildwood or vice versa as an idea!

Wait .. are you talking about Ocean City NJ or Ocean City Maryland?
