Hey girl! I know exactly where you are coming from. Lack of sleep is my undoing on the I don't-wanna-be-here-no-more agenda. I am unfortunately a hyperalert sleeper. Due to the heavy abuse as a kid, I find sleeping a real chore. Drives me insane sometimes when I know there is no danger, but the old brain just sometimes won't shut down. Luckily it doesn't happen all that often anymore...but when it does...Oh BOY!
I don't know of any websites online that deal with the talking it out. Maybe do a google search and see what you come up with. Maybe even ask one of the help lines if there are any online sites.
I know back home in Australia we have a group called beyondblue really helped me. Google them and see if they are of any help to you.

Oh, and by the way...even though you aren't sleeping....you do post some really good questions of the day....gets me thinking......so please don't opt out on us..you are a big help to us who look forward to some light heartedness. Even if you can't think of any q of the day, just post something!

and lay off any caffeine...A nice minty tea, that's hot may help, but get the decafinated kind.
Have you ever participated in a sleep study? this can be effective to get at the root as to why you are not sleeping.
a few hints..if you take the hotest bath w/o scalding self natch, you can and soak for a good 1/2 hr 2 hrs before bedtime it raises your core temp a bit..your body works to get that back to normal.,.induces drowsiness.
hint 2..exercise hard about 5 hours before sleep same theory it can not be any sooner than that or youll be over stimulated and not sleep
hint 3 folks who have trouble sleeping should use bed for sleep and ( ya know * ) only no reading or tv...
hint 4 do not stay in bed for more than 1/2 hr if ya dont fall asleep get up and do anything mondane and boring,,,dishes, cross stitch nothing thats gonna stimulate your mind.
Hint 5 try a white noise machine they help many
Have you had your thyroid checked? a diseased thyroid can cause insomnia. Just ask me.
A lack of sleep is worse than you can describe, and no one can understand unless they have had that problem. Sleeping pills don't work for me either.
I hope you get some relief.
Glad to hear you are okay, we wre woried about you ,you contribute so much to the Social ,dont leave to go anywhere .
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz nothing like a good nights' rest! I should go see what your sleep tracker looks like if you have one ... not sure I've seen no sleep for 49hrs.
Thank you everyone for responding....I am ok..I think it was mainly that i had not slept in 49 hours...and I was sooo tired...worn out....I finally got some sleep and i am taking it easy
