If it had to be winter or summer all year, what would you prefer?

I am asking this question because I am SOOOOO alone with my how I feel!  I am curious if there is anyone else out there who feels as I do.

If you had to have the weather winter (below 45degrees) or summer (above 85 degrees) all year, which would you prefer?????

I didn't vote.  I can't stand extremes.  I have a lot more pain regardless of which extreme it is.

I was just in Oregon where it was below 45 quite a few days, and during the day it was nice, at night..FORGET IT! Bloody freezing! Now I am home for two weeks here in Australia and I was thinking how nice it has been. Around mid 70's. Then today...bleurgh....around 85 with humidity of around 65 %. I hate it when it gets really warm and humid! Poor old body just can't cope.
SO! Winter or summer? Can't I just hibernate in winter like a bear then take a vacation afterwards?

It's already been 45 degrees and lower here and I'm going to freeeeze...Of course, I have thyroid issues and that isn't helping....so out comes the flannel pjs and I bought a down blanket and a new warmer (I hope) coat and I need really thick socks and long underwear and OHHHHH  I'm definitely going to be a summer from now on....

Though I do love snow...I really hate cold.

I did not vote, as I prefer 4 seasons; each in its time with the wonder of the fullness of life unfolding before your eyes.

Like now in Fall: trees turning, waterfowl flying, squirrels gathering, winds blowing, frost forming...a reminder that nothing is permanent and everything yields its place to something else.

WINTER- Might be a bit different for me here, in Australias sunny QLD, but summer here = Humidity, which I can't stand. Plus its heaps easier covering that dreaded bloat-belly in winter.

All Year???!!! Definitely the summer. I couldn't imagine being in below 45 degrees all year.  I live in Florida and won't do yard work if its below 70 degrees...toooo cold. Give me the sun!

Summer.Though to be honest I prefer temps 75-85 without the extreme tropical humidity that we tend to get.

I had to waffle on my answer based on specific conditions not outlined in your poll.  Sorry!  Now, if I can choose WHERE in the US this type of weather applies, then I'd have a hard decision because I do LOVE a hot crisp day at the beach (no humidity) and I love a COLD crisp day in winter (also no humidity or rain).

I vote BOTH!  :P

If it had been winter with about 35 degrees above the zero mark, I would have picked it as you can put clothes on to keep warm or bundle up with blankets, but can't take skin off to keep cool above 90 degrees, but 45 below zero is too much...things would be breaking....high temps melt, but easier to move than being a stiff frozen popsicle!!!

Fall is better...not too cold not too hot.  Spring is preferable also temp wise.

I have to agree with lhughes, I am from the south also. I hate humid summer or winter.
I like cookand crisp!  Sunshine with the wind out of the North is purrrfect for me! Don't give me the winters we have cold, wet, dreary rain.YUCK! I love cold, but DRY!! This is why I had to  pick Summer.  Yea! the vaporizor south! LOL
