Dont worry that its been three yrs since you've seen your teacher. It''s been my experience that teachers seem to never forget. Your teacher would be a good source.
about friends co workers..co workers yes,,,find a different word for friends,,,long time charitable organization associate ( like some one you go to church with) or co- chairperson for pta, little league whatever,,get my drift use your friends do not call them friends and think of something honest and true that you and your friend have a history of doing,
I am back in school to for getting out of CNA and into Patient Care Tech/ dual MA. I was suprised because its been years since Ive been in college but we are required to take a business communication class, which is one of my current classes...Yes 3 years old is ok,,and yes you can use your fiances letter of reference,,,You dont give out information that you dont wish interviewer to know ,,,,the fact that you past supervisor is now your fiance is irrelvant and none of their business, it would look incorrect for him to use the same address if you two live together,,,have him use his moms or a trusted friends address, you will need to use a correct one for your self,,,,according to my teacher there is no such thing as going too far back,,,,,for references...make sure its someone who " liked " you.
I would think that people such as teachers would be your best bet, unless you are working in the Nursing field right now. Teachers could attest to what kind of a student you were and the fact that you have the smarts, drive and detemination to finish and become a good Nurse. If you are in the Nursing field now then one from a Teacher and one from a current management person would be the best IMO. Good luck and congrads on going back.
