I just rented one "To Sir, with love", an oldie but goodie. Last one I saw in the theatre was the musical Mama Mia. I highly recommend it.
My daughter rented that one! As she was watching it, I was going around the house singing along with it and she couldn't figure out how I knew the words! I told her ABBA was from my time, lol.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha. that's funny April! LOL
I too saw The Changeling and it was just such a good movie and sad! I also recommend that one.
The last movie I saw in the theater was Paul Blart: Mall Cop and I thought it was funny :) My son liked it too. It was his idea.
I don't go often to the movies because it's too darn expensive!
April!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You MUST rent Body of Lies. I told BP about it. It's so, so good!! It's action from start to end. I love it. You will not get bored watching that movie. Oh, and I also like ABBA; Dancing Queen, Fernando, and my favorite, THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!
dancing queen....young and sweet only 17...dara dara dara...dancing queen...feel the beat from the tambourine. You can dance...you can jive.....dara lara lara....see that girl.....
I started "Australia" during girls naptime. Had to pause b/c they're up now. So far so good, I've heard really good things about it.
My hubby saw "Taken" said, "best movie I've seen in awhile".
Body Of Lies is good also Pride and Glory. Max Payne was good also.I am a big movie buff I can name them all day LOL.
Seven Pounds..Will Smith..fabulous movie
Taken.........Very good lots of action and suspense.
SlumDog Millionare...good disturbing..shot in India in true slums.
Almost anything from Will Smith is good!
BP, please don't tell me you liked 'I am Legend' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was okay. I don't really like those type of zombie movies and stuff like that, but I always enjoy Will's acting :)
I don't normally enjoy the zombie movies either but this one had a good story to it!
Well leave it to domino here to come up with "Pineapple Express"!!! It was stupid funny!!!
Hmm, that sounds familiar, but I haven't seen that movie. I don't even know what it's about. Now was it stupid funny or stupid male humor funny? LOL
I haven't been to a theater to watch any movie since.... Wow, it is a while: "Der Untergang".
I'm a person who likes the living room and the couch a lot. Last up was "Lucky Number Slevin", in my eyes a crazy good movie. There are so many movies I'd like to see, but I know for definite that my all-time favorite has been and will be "Dead Poet's Society".
Nice, relaxed comedy ought to be anything with Adam Sandler, gotta love the guy.
Grand Torino YEY it was great!!
Its about a couple loadies and one witnesses a murder.......just stupid funny!!!
Oh, okay :) Thanks Sarah! I like stupid funny, but not male humor funny LOL.
April, I can't believe you liked I am Legend lol.....ugh......
I like Men in Black!!! But I know you've seen that movie.
Also, 'The Departed' is a good movie, and 'Never Back Down' as well. Oh, and '300'; but that's just because I love Gerard Butler.
Okay, I'm gonna be a lame-o here for a second, but I just have to recommend a movie that I think you'll like, and you can watch it with your 4 year old.
Bolt.
Trevor, Brandon, and me went to see it in the theater, and we all loved it! I personally thought the pigeons stole the show. :-D
I think it's out on DVD already, but if it's not, it should be out this month.
Ooops, that should be "Trevor, Brandon, and *I*..."
I'm picky about my grammar and composition, so I felt compelled to fix that, lol. I need more sleep...
Well I didnt like Benjamin Button, they were all dying in it, pretty silly movie I thought, whats that new Clint Eastwood one like, forgot the name of it.Adore "The quiet Man" set in Ireland, with John Wayne must have seen it 20 times, the fight scene is terrific, for fun I like frivolous ' Pretty Woman' Officer and a Gentleman, 'Some like it Hot" Look whose coming to Dinner' ton of them....
Oh yeah! I wanted to see Bolt too. It looked cute! I still haven't seen Marley and me!
