I have listed some of the most common Web Browsers. If yours isn't listed, please select Other and leave a comment below. I'm very sorry if I have missed listing your preferred Internet Browser. :(

Question:

What Internet Browser do you prefer to use? Why?

I really prefer Mozilla Firefox because I think it runs a lot faster than others.

I use Opera.  It has many of the same features as FF (or can be configured to have them) and  a few of its own. One I really like is that I can select a link, even if it's not hyperlinked, right click and go to url. Saves having to copy and paste into the top bar.

This would be my prefrence out of the broswers I've tried:  Opera, Firefox, IE.

Unfortunately this computer has trouble running firefox, otherwise I would use it. It could be the session saver addon that has done it in.  It used to work before I installed it and then upgraded to v2.  It seems to have issues with the session saver on v3 as well.  (It crashed my computer when it restored a session that had an error on one of the pages and now I can't seem to load it without that happening.)

I used Safari, but I did not like how web pages loaded on it.  But then again that was a long time ago. I hope they fixed it since then.

Firefox is probably my favorite browser, but I also use Opera from time to time.  (I usually use Opera on smaller screens like when surfing the web from my cell phone for example.)

I'm not terribly picky really.  I'll use Safari or Chrome if it's installed on the machine I'm using.  I just have little patience for rendering engines that don't even seem to try to follow W3 standards.  (No, a separate "standards-mode" doesn't count unless it's the default.)

I use Mozilla Firefox mostly...sometimes Opera...but my ADSL seems to like Mozilla better! I have tried a new one called SRIRON but found it kept freezing up ..mind you it was darn fast when it didn't freeze!
I totally LOATHE IE...pain in the proverbial backside!

Opera should be tried by everyone. it's highly configurable(to suit your taste/needs)and faster/safer than IE. uses less resources than IE or firefox/mozilla etc.
used it since the 3.x version. always been ahead of the rest.
it is available for windows/linux and mac(and others, even your cell phone)
free too

I use IE, I have Mozilla, but, I am just more used to IE. I downloaded a good spell checker for IE, I use it all the time.

I prefer using Mozilla Firefox because I really like it's interface and it's Spell Checker. :)
