"This Time" by Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I'm not sure why something about that line..."I've been sitting watching life pass by the sidelines" It's all about not participating in your life being so hurt you just can't be involved. But, then he says maybe "this time".
I always tear up when I see that video for that song "What might Have been" by Little Texas... Some Country songs always seem to make people cry!!

Lady, My Sweet Lady by John Denver:
--------------------
Lady, are you crying, do the tears belong to me
Did you think our time together was all gone
Lady, youve been dreaming, Im as close as I can be
I swear to you our time has just begun
Close your eyes and rest your weary mind
I promise I will stay right here beside you
Today our lives were joined, became entwined
I wish you could know how much I love you
Lady, are you happy, do you feel the way I do
Are there meanings that youve never seen before
Lady, my sweet lady, I just cant believe its true
And its like Ive never ever loved before
Close your eyes and rest your weary mind
I promise I will stay right here beside you
Today our lives were joined, became entwined
I wish you could know how much I love you
Lady, are you crying, do the tears belong to me
Did you think our time together was all gone
Lady, my sweet lady, Im as close as I can be
I swear to you our time has just begun

The song that makes me cry every time is Carrie Underwood's "Just a Dream".
Here are the lyrics:
It was two weeks after the day she turned eighteen
All dressed in white
Going to the church that night
She had his box of letters in the passenger seat
Sixpence in a shoe, something borrowed, something blue
And when the church doors opened up wide
She put her veil down
Trying to hide the tears
Oh she just couldn't believe it
She heard trumpets from the military band
And the flowers fell out of her hand
Baby why'd you leave me
Why'd you have to go?
I was counting on forever, now I'll never know
I can't even breathe
It's like I'm looking from a distance
Standing in the background
Everybody's saying, he's not coming home now
This can't be happening to me
This is just a dream
The preacher man said let us bow our heads and pray
Lord please lift his soul, and heal this hurt
Then the congregation all stood up and sang the saddest song that she ever heard
Then they handed her a folded up flag
And she held on to all she had left of him
Oh, and what could have been
And then the guns rang one last shot
And it felt like a bullet in her heart
Baby why'd you leave me
Why'd you have to go?
I was counting on forever, now I'll never know
I can't even breathe
It's like I'm looking from a distance
Standing in the background
Everybody's saying, he's not coming home now
This can't be happening to me
This is just a dream
Oh,
Baby why'd you leave me
Why'd you have to go?
I was counting on forever, now I'll never know
Oh, now I'll never know
It's like I'm looking from a distance
Standing in the background
Everybody's saying, he's not coming home now
This can't be happening to me
This is just a dream
Oh, this is just a dream
Just a dream
Yeah, Yeah

When it says: Then they handed her a folded up flag
And she held on to all she had left of him
Oh, and what could have been
And then the guns rang one last shot
And it felt like a bullet in her heart.....
I lose it. I cry and cry and cry. I'm a military wife and my husband was injured while overseas a few years ago. He's out of the service now, but this song just strikes a nerve with me. It makes me realize just how close we came to losing him. And just how lucky I am to have him here beside me, even now as I write this.
God bless the United Stated Armed Forces.
Jesus take the Wheel gets to me every time
