Is there snow or no snow on the ground? Some places are getting socked with snow. If it's not snowing, what else can be falling from the sky? Is it bitter cold or really warm? Has the sun set or is it sunny out? Here's your chance to talk about it.

Central MN - right now it's in the upper teens. The sun set a few minutes ago and it's dark as night. It clouded up a little, but no snow yet. We are still under a Winter Storm Watch.

Here in  SE MI for your first snow storm we got about 8 inches I guess. But I was in Iowa, and we only got maybe 4 inches there. It all melted here at home a couple days after Christmas. Then for  the New Year we went north to northern lower MI to enjoy the snow as we had planned for some time and got almost 4 inches from the last storm. Ironically, we planned this trip to find some snow because it doesn't snow much here in SE MI and with all the snow we've seen since before the 19th even, I've had my fill and am not too sad to see the frozen grass in my yard today.

Still not getting any 80 degree heat, lol...but we are getting more snow. Perviously it thawed up to a balmy 39 degrees. I mean everyone get on your shorts and tee shirts, because that's as warm as it will get for a while lol...then temps dropped suddenly, causing a thick coating of ice on the streets and sidewalks.

Here's a personal gripe; Can any city be worse at plowing streets than where I am?  Okay the man plowing our alley does an okay job, but the city plow people............  It's like driving over pot holes of ice.

Here in southeastern Va it's in the mid 30's and tomorrow will be in the mid 60's!!  This is soooo typical Va weather.  We've had no accumulations of any snow for many years now, but would really love to have a white X-mas!  We get flurries sometimes, which make people freak and drive about 10 mph on the interstate!  LOL

That would defiantely make the news!! More so than any snow storm!  That would be funny everyone would be buying up all the can goods and water and swearing the world is coming to an end! LOL

I'd like the 70's and 80's but then I can't be too greedy, lol. Imagine all the hysteria it would create if we had one 80 degree day in January here in MN.  It would sure be something, lol.

You can have the 34 or 32 or any of these cold temps. I want the 80s and 90s back!! I hibernate for the winter. Well I try but the job won't let me.

I did get the shoveling done. Thankfully we have only a stub of a driveway, but the snow was hardened from the snow plow and the freezing over.

jollyman069, I heard something about a warmer than average January expected, but I'll believe it when I see it!  So far this weather doesn't bode well....

Lonelymom, this is quite sad for me to say (considering I don't take cold well and rather have spring/summer) that I'd be glad to have that 34... Heck I'll even settle for a 32...  Okay maybe even a positive 20 if it keeps this up...

In Texas well atleast central Texas where I am at it is 34 degrees today. Was 73 degrees on Saturday then dropped down again on Sunday. Supposed to get back up to 72 or so by Saturday again.

we usualluy dont get temps like this until january not very often in decembaer so looks like january will be a bugger

Odd that your state would get our kind of temps. I'm glad you made it alright. I hate bitter cold too. There's something depressing about seeing a negative number, especially if that is the *high* for the day. And wind chills in the -20's and lower is just downright wrong...

It's 4 above here and there's snow and a shovel with my name on it. The snow won't shovel itself, so I better get to it...  I sure hope we can get the sub zeros and snow done with so January and Febuary can be like summer, lol.

he in western maryland which is up in the mounatins, we have very little snow yet..but when i went to dialysis..at 5 am this morning it was 4 degrees ith a winchill of -27 below zero....i will take 30m degree and 3 feet of snow anyday... i hate the cold and it was COLD

We have lots of snow here on the ground.  And, today we're supposed to get up to 10 inches possibly!!!  And, it's supposed to snow Christmas Day!  YIPPEE!!!!  I love snow!!!!

We're in for a cold night tonight!  Ick...  I hate it when it gets too cold for the salt to melt the ice. They called off the Holidazzle Parade because of the wind chills. It would have been nice to watch it even if we only watch it on TV.

Here in the greater Cleveland area, we have around 1 inch today, but it is only -1 degrees  with the windchill of -20. With 50 mile an hour winds, makes it bitter cold. We've had snow in the past weeks, but has melted and now it's only about an inch. We expect much more to come, since this is Ohio. Like they say in Cleveland, if you don't like the weather, just wait about an hour, it will change. And believe me, it's never for the good. But I would rather have a few months of cold and snow, than hurricanes and wild fires. Though we do get a few little earth quakes, still not like California. But it could be worst, like living in Alaska. Now that is cold.

Its going to be a hot Christmas Day here,it was 90 degrees=30celcius and more of the same in the next few days! I would like to try a snowy Christmas it looks beautiful,but i hate the cold~~~

Sunny and 80 in southwest Fla, and I still cannot get used to the lights on the palm trees and the snow men in the front yards not to mention Santa in his swimsuit lying in a hammock and drinking a pretty drink with an umbrella in it and down here the elves are little gecco lizards in santa hats

Well, needless to say, no snow in Southern California. I wish it would snow here; it would feel more like Christmas!

We're getting our snow now. It's been quite dark and gloomy all day.

We've had about 8 inches of snow in the last 6 hours in western Connecticut.  Its beginning to taper off a bit.  It may turn to sleet before it stops.  Its in the mid-twenties, dark now and the wind is picking up.  The forecast is for another snowstorm Sunday.  Brrrrrrr!
