The win

This restores my faith in our country.  I thought they were all idiots when they voted and then re-elected the bone head!!!  Glad to be an American again!

why is it okay to tax the hell out of someone who has worked their *** off to make $250000 year?  i spent $100000 on my law degree and i'm still paying, but now my husband and i will be paying even more out in taxes, i'm sorry i don't see how that is equitable.

well kiddthekat, I guess you'll be getting half my paycheck because I do make over $250,000 a year.  You act like there are few people who make that much which is pennies these days.  I bust my *** and work 70 plus hours a week for my pay, how much do you work?  How much are you willing to give up, how much are you willing to sacrifice. Charity should start at home.

Well, this "people" focuses on color, yet I am not a racist. Barrack Obama has a long road to hoe in order to get us heading back to a better America. This thread was finally coming together Rep. and Dem. and then here comes nobama trying to win the poetry contest.
I voted for Barrack Obama, even knowing that he was Bi-racial, but it wouldn't have mattered had he been orange, purple, blue or whatever, he has the ability to change this America for the better. If he robs you, it's your own fault. Do you honestly think that the citizens of this country were blameless for the mess that we're in? It's hard to keep up with the Jones' and not get buried in debt. Unless you make over 250,000 a year you have nothing to b***h about.

I think you people focus too much on color on this site.  DO you even know what race I am?

'Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!

I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political ****.

When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!

" On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi"
He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

For those who sat their lazy @ss at home and did not get out and vote, I THANK you for robbing me!

Well I voted for OBama , for my party, I have been a registered democrat since I became a citizen and before that, I do not think any one should come here and call anyone an idiot because they voted for another party, I had big reservations on voting for him ,his past , his wifes views,(let us not forget wives get to whisper a lot in their husbands ear,) I came from Europe (England) originally and I dont want to go the socialism route,I still couldnt vote Republican after what Bush did to us,incidently I was one who wanted him to go in and take Saddam Hussein out I believed we were all doomed if we didnt .I will support him he is my President, but I like others who thought Hillary would have been better, however  think he will take a better middle course than the Media predicts.

Tucamore NO OFFENCE...but you make me smile...you are sooooooo paranoid alright about terrorists...it never crossed your mind that old Bush created them (in fact trained them-Sadam Hussein and his people against Russian occupants in Afghanistan??? ) and young Bush had a reson: "weapons of mass destruction" hahahaha.....to kill all of them for OIL?????!!!    I am not talking about Sept 11 at all....that it's another  sad story.

OBAMA is the best man for the job.... You will never regret not saying "I told you so"...just accept the fact that he is the BEST man for the job experienced or not....the country picked him and they believe in his strenth to change the mess BUSH created. It will take long time  but strap yourself anfd see...just relax.

Everyone seems to be happy just because we elected an African American. I thought this was about the best man for the job, not what color the skin was. Frankly I didn't care what color is shin was/is, he lacks the skills and experience to run our country in this very shaky economic environment with terrorist leaking in every hallway and peeking in our windows.

I lived through a lot of elections. I have never been afraid of stating me political preference. I have never been verbally attacked and threatened during any other presidential race for responding to the question, "Who are you going to vote for?" And because I would not vote for Obama that automatically brought loud hateful accusations that I am a racist. I had no right to vote for a caucasian because an African American was running for president...didn't I get it??? Stupid me, I honest thought it was about who I felt would do the best job????

I will support the man the American ppl elected as our president. I will pray for him every day. Obama is now my president and I will shut up, sit down, close my eyes, buckle up and hang on for dear life.  I sincerely hope I never have to say, "I told you so."

I want to add to this that there has been a lot of speculation that he is not simply going within the D party for his cabinet, that he is crossing party lines.

I realize many do not like him for his associations, but the one point that sold me was Colin Powell. Hands down he is the one person in this country I respect more than any other when it comes to their opinion on a candidate. Had he run, he would have had my vote.

I am elated that my children have witnessed history made. I am elated that so many people who's voice was previously unheard, were heard this time. I am elated that the candidate I supported finally won, now I am 2 for 4 ;-)

Cheer up folks, we need to look forward for solutions not wallow in the past.

Let me tell you something Vance, I have been a life long republican, but this year I voted Democrat. And my values are just fine Thank You!! I voted for Bubba W both times,( what was I thinking?) But I swore that I would do anything I had to do to keep and republican out of the White House for another 4 years of disaster. Bubba W was determined to get Sadam bevause Bubba Sr. didn't, and look where we are now.

Fox TV # 1 ...I can believe that...but what will you say now about how they treated Obamas  as a candidate and all the people who spoke positively about Obama???as a joke....they are a big joke to me. OrIley he was the first one to criticize everyone who was pro OBAMA. It is Sad that lots of people are watching this silly, rude TV network.

After Clinton left He left this beautiful country with "0" deficit and when Bush leaves??  He will leave tremendous amount in debt for Obama to deal with ... trillion of dollars or MORE ..because of his screwed up idea of playing war in Iraq.....I will never get it why!!!

Please tell me how President Bush almost ran the country into the ground. If you were a republican in values then you would never move to a democrat because those values are far from the republican party.
I will admit that the GOP has lost it's way and needs to return to it's roots, but better times are ahead for the GOP.

Here's my 2 cents......Horray !!!!! I was a Bush voter, always a Republican...Not anymore, not after our beloved Bush almost ran this beautiful country into the ground. After many years, I finally voted Democrat...Hum...how things change...

I wonder how much of a mess Obama will have to deal with when he takes office in Jan?, I think. And I also am curious what his stand on Iraq will be too? I'm not sure if he wants to pull the troops out immediately, or not.

Obama campaigned on one set of ideas, but during the campaign, his tone changed a number of times. As well, the economy changed. So many of his tax and spending proposals would have to be reworked to face the new reality.

Each political party at any given time as a few long overdue ideas, a few interesting new ideas, a bunch of old ideas, and some stinkers. The US political system attempts to push politicians to the middle, and it mostly succeeds.

Swampy was a McCain supporter, but the election is over now. Obama deserves the chance to succeed. He'll need a good cabinet, the best his party has to offer. Those are the people that make the policies everyone talks about. Many people have ideas about what those policies will be, but they are speculating. Although Obama ran on certain changes, he also gave himself plenty of wiggle room. Swampy suspects we will all be surprised. Swampy is willing to be surprised in a good way.

Who do you think you are coming on here and insulting thousands of people who use Medhelp? Just because you do not like President Bush does not give you the right to insult people.
I am one of the "idiots", so why not have a debate on the issues facing the country with me? And I don't want to hear talking points either or "hope" and "change"
