So come on, next question has to be what are you doing with the leftovers any good recipes I can use?

What left overs??? As we clear the table my family fill containers that I have provided. My family guests all take the Tupperware-like containers home. We only keep enough for a few turkey sandwiches and a few pieces of pie. My family is happy as heck and my refrig is not filled to over flowing with leftovers that I am forced to throw out three days.

I am not in the mood for leftovers of any kind. I was invited to 3 dinners Thanksgiving day. one on Saturday and our family dinner today. I am about turkeyed out!

Same thing Cherie except the meat is differant I believe it is ground Lamb in Shepherds pie and ground beef in Cottage pie, my mom used to fry it all up, sling in in an oven dish , spread mashed spuds on top ,spinkle with chedder cheese and grill till the cheese was brown, and melted ,not too heathy I think! in  fact she used to cook her french fries , Chips to the Limeys out there, in LARD, yuck .I will take a peek at your recipes , peek awho.and copy them for Xmas I am kind of sick of left overs today but will be rarin to go again at Xmas .

No more leftovers, Thanks guys or I will throw up if I eat one more bite of turkey till Xmas.Hey Cherie I have written down the turkey Pot pie for left over Xmas turkey it sounds great ,pot pie is one of my weaknesses, originally from England ,Pies are big comfort food there, my Mom made gorgeus ones, ever heard of 'corned beef and onion pie " not to mention her cottage or shepherds pie!!! Yum

turkey pot pie.

Make crust from busquick recipie

add cooked mixed veggies\\

add 2 chopped small potatoes

add1/4 cup diced onion and 1/4 diced celery

salt and pepper

use left over gravey or buy a jar add
mix all ingrediants

put in pie shell put top crust on

cut 3 1 inch lines to vent
bake 350 45 min- 1 hour

Turkey Tacos it is , I already got to making some turkey soup, I went to my daughters house and she sent me home with a pile of turkey!!

I'm putting them in the microwave and eating them with rice and plantains!! I hate left overs, but I hate cooking. When you're finished, doesn't your hair smell bad? How about your clothes? UGH...I've gotta say, cooking isn't my Forte, but it'd be appropriate to read some good recipes with left overs.  :)

Hey, like the turkey tacos!  Soup sounds good, too..............

Today will be turkey on rye bread and side dishes on the side!

Tomorrow will be turkey tacos if any is left ... we are a taco family!

I'll definietly make a turkey soup with either wild rice or pearl barley and lots of veggies.

And if I have enough leftovers, probably turkey tacos.
