What do YOU take for granted
Please list the top three things you take for granted..with Thanksgiving comming up, I think we all have soooo much more t be greatful for than we realise.
my three and I gave this some serio thought
1. that there will always be water available to me
2. I can go to a Dr and purchase medicine when I am sick
3. that I have a lot of friends and family who have my back and love me

Hello the 3 things I would say I take for Granted are:
Life-That I and those I love will be around forever which I know is not true, but I waste too much of my life sitting at home and not spending time with my friends and family.
Food-Can't imagine not having it because I Love To Eat.
Health-Mine is already Shot LOL - OH WELL, 2 out 3 ain't bad.

I think its food! I do it we all do it! We have the luxury of going the store picking out whatever we want taking it home and eating it! In some countries thats NOT possible! Like Africa have you watch the show about feeding the hungry 3 DAYS with nothing we'd die here like that heck im cranky after a few hours of not getting something just imagine a what few days might do! Or even here I saw a lady that had everything and then she turned into a single mom with no $$ and her kids were wondering why at the food bank they could'nt just go the shelves there and grab what they wanted! Its so sad!
and Redhead...gotta agree with you I have gone without too! I have walked MILES to get to a job lived on a VERY short food budget and yes we are VERY thankful for water! we have that luxury TONS of water comes outta our fuacets we can take hot baths and showers whenver i had NO idea homeless people bathe with a 20 oz bottle of water! and here i was complaining about not having a shower head in my house shame on me at least i got a faucet and tub it mite be not be a shower but its ALOT more than they have!

Yes we do that dont we our health is definatly taken for granted , reminds me its time to think out a New Year resolution ..
Being young, I used to take my health for granted. Had the thought healthwise I was invinsible. Well, the last 16 months or so...I realised that isnt so...young doesn't mean invinsible!!!!
Oh gosh, I rarely take anything for granted! Having been without so much in my life I guess I am blessed to see the good I have.
BUT I think I take for granted that I live in such a great country as Australia. Beautiful countryside, clean cities, rarely any major problems here. NAH, I never take my country for granted! Hee hee. I know how easy things can be taken away from us. I bless every day that my fridge keeps my thyroid meds chilled, my tap pours out fresh clean water, my food is good and healthy and I don't have to walk miles to get it.

I took for granted that when I came to America it would always be the exceptional ,wonderful country on the face of the earth, I am horrified by what is happening here now and more horrifying is that most Americans cannot see it, dont want to see it or are willfully helping the destruction .....
ol i wish i had your number 2 and 3. I guess i could go to the but paying -_- money needed for what i need
What I take for granted is

2. A loving family. MY parents are there for me to the best of there abilities and at time i forget there human too and expect to much.
3. Food on the table. Any one who eats alot more then they should has this.
I use to not aperciate warm water and a shower but after going a month with only cold water and then a little over a week with no shower (none of this by choice) im so much more greatful now and i know i never want to not be able to shower again lol
