Christmas is in my home this year so I will travel very little unless its too and from the kitchen lol Marry Christmas to you all ...
I prefer to keep off the roads at Christmas time. People here drive like idiots. We get a day after Christmas as a holiday as well, known as Boxing Day, so this year being on a Sunday the Monday is the holiday for it. Lots of people take extra time off and the roads can be a bad place to be on.
So I will stay home and enjoy a red wine instead.
I am only doing one trip. After Christmas, my boyfriend and I are going to visit his sister and family. So we just have one long car ride, which will be about 5 and a half hours.
Fortunately we only have one trip this year, to my inlaws on the 27th for Christmas with his family. It's about a 7 hour drive and will be there about 6 days. Usually we also make a trip to my parents which is about a 5 hour flight. Instead they are coming here this year, in January. So we are having 3 'Christmas". At home with some friends coming over Christmas Day, my in laws the week after, and with my parents in Jan. I'm already exhausted..lol.
