I just watched the end part of Flashdance  where the galJennifer Beales) in it is dancing to be able to go to the Dance Academy,it is so uplifting ,it is one of the happiest , hopeful pieces I have seen, I must have viewed it a few dozen times ,it came out in 1987 I believe .but the dancing is so up to date even youngsters today would like it,if you get a chance take a look.It will make you feel good. So my question is what Movie, music, story, human condition, uplifts you, makes you feel better after a trying day, week, year ...decade .?

Awww Disney movies...Sighs and remembers.....Just thinking about it makes me want to ball my eyes out.

Any one remeber The Last Unicorn? It taught a great lesson about being happy and satisfied with ones self....

Flashdance . . . okay, who didn't have a sweatshirt that hung off of one shoulder back then . . .  LOL.  But butterfly . . .  a guy?  I didn't know that!  But boy did he have great legs!  

Anyway, lots of Disney movies are very happy in the ending department.  Remember Beauty and the Beast?  We just saw "the Frog and the Princess"-------  good music, happy ending true to Disney form.  

I am always moved by loving caregivers whether it is an adult caring for their elderly parent or an adult caring for their disabled child.  When you see the patience, time and dedication they have in the middle of the hustle and bustle of this world we live in-----  I'm moved.  It makes me think to slow down and appreciate and nurture those I care about in my life.

Watching my beloved puppy dogs play and frolic. No matter how bad of a day it always makes me forget about anything negative...  :0)

oohh yes John Travolta I loved that and also Grease another I have watched a ton of times..Ummmmm disco dancing I would still like to be hopping around thing is the DH isnt a 'hopper'

hey Marg... I remember when that movie came out. Everyone ran out and bought leg warmers... lol! I heard that the stunt double who performed the majority of the dancing routines was a guy. Anyway, as far as music and storyline, I never get tired of watching Saturday Night Fever. I was hitting the Disco night clubs during that period... so, it always brings me wonderful memories.
