Ok, so when Im down or stressed I always listen to music to cheer me up!! I think its a great way to pick yourself up... So just wondering what are ye're "happy songs"..


Mine is Hero, by Enrique Iglasias.. Not only has he a good voice but hes hot too :-)

Iv even got my funeral song picked out lol!!!! Its "I believe" by Diamond Rio!!!!!!

The Zac Brown has a new one out called "Where the Boat Leaves From".  LOVE this song!  Makes me want to go to the islands. I also love most anything by Jimmy Buffett. (I think there may be a theme here, lol.)

Sugarland has one out called "Down in Mississippi" that I really like.  If I'm in a more reflective mood I like Sugarland's "I Will Stand Back Up".  When hubby and I have a falling out it is Gretchen WIlson's "I Don't Feel Like Loving You Today".  

Heck, I have a song for most any occasion.  For my funeral I'm thinking of Dolly Parton / Brad Paisley's "When I Get Where I Am Going".  Awesome song!  (Or maybe Jimmy Buffett's "One Particular Harbor".)

Im big into country music... Absolutely love it, Diamond Rio, Gareth Brooks, Dolly Parton.... Give me a good country song any day!! Theres a song by diamond Rio called "We all fall down" and I love it. Mainly as it kinda sums up how this year went for me this past year or so! It has such meaning... I listen it to in college when Im doing my thesis.. Just to keep me going!!!!

oh crumbs I will have to research blue Moon and  who sang it is was very famous a few years ago,I can hear their voice it was after you are my sunshine that is an oldie ...I also like classical music and the DH is into Jazz..and Blues

Nope, dont have a clue what "blue moon" is, who sings it?? I prob wont know half the songs ye mention!!! Living in Ireland things are very different!!!!!Will look up al these songs thoug, might add the to my happy list! :-)

Aww, thats sweet!!!!! My mom sings "you are my sunshine" to my lil brother, he has Downs Syndrome and is very special to her!!!

Oh my!  Many songs make me happy---------  you are so right.  Music can just perk you right up on a bad day!  And you are so funny picking out your funeral song!!!  

Okay, this is corny but  . . . "you are my sunshine".  Oh, don't laugh.  It is happy and I sang it all the time to both my boys when they were babies and they still light up when I sing it or they hear it.  It is sentimental at this point . . .

Face full of freckles by Natasha Beddinghaus-----  nice message, upbeat song!  Since I have a face full of wrinkles, it makes me feel better--------  LOL

Any type of dance music,  my feet start going, my mind starts going, I feel the beat and am happy!

But, truth be told, I love music from every genre and am just happy to have music playing!
