What to serve with Pizza?
I am getting married next year on halloween. We have decided to decorate the hall in halloween decor and play old horror films on a projector onto the wall. We have decided to have pizza as the main dish, and will have bowls of popcorn sitting around too, to go along with the movie playing. (we will have a dj and dancing, the movie is more for during dinner). Anyways, we are going to have pizza delivered so that it is hot and fresh and ready when the wedding is over and we get to the reception. We are also going to serve pasta salad. Can anyone else think of a side dish to go with pizza that does not take TONS of prep in advance? We are having between 120-160 guests.

I usually try to stay away from extra starch and other heavy foods with pizza, which is already pretty starchy and heavy. I find that the meal is more enjoyable if the rest of what you serve is lighter, so no one feels weighted down (it's healthier too!).
So, my two cents would be:
A green salad instead of a pasta salad. You can put lots of veggies in it. Or you could have a raw veggie platter with low fat dips(but not necessarily fat free, because yuck). Something with yogurt would be cool and nice.
You could try the antipasta salad, that's a good idea, too. Although, if I put meat in the antipasta, I'd probably skip having meat on the pizza, just to keep from overbalancing the meal in one direction/flavor.
How about something with fruit, like pinapple and strawberry kababs? Those are fun and yummy.
I'd stay away from extra bread, tempting though it may be. Pizza is mostly bread, after all.
If you drink at all, go for a nice red wine, something in the burgandy family. Soft and full-bodied, not sweet.
This way, the meal is enjoyable and not overly heavy.
And you will be able to eat dessert! I'd go nuts and have a really good ice cream, maybe with chocolate sauce and whipped cream!

I think we are going to do pizza, breadsticks, pasta salad, and a salad for the main course. We are going to have a "Candy Bar" which will include popcorn and candy found at most theaters, and then of course the actual dessert will be wedding cake. My dad is brewing the beer, and we will also serve tea, lemonade, and fruit punch,

Yogart -lg tub (vanilla or plain) 1-8oz Cream Cheese, 1/2 C. Sugar, 2 Tbs Lemon Juice, Milk (thin to your desire) 1 tsp. Vanilla.
Optional- 1/4 C. Strawberry sauce...found near frozen fruit section.

Since you are going with an Italian theme (at least for the pizza, or are you showing the Godfather too?) - you could add some simple authentic Italian side dish that is refreshing:
1. Tomato slices with Bocconcini cheese and basil leaves. Serve on large trays with a bit of garlic, black pepper, olive oil, vinegar. It is so fast to make.
2. Soup - how about Minestrone? Keeps your hands and mind free once it is made.
3. Fruit and cheese.
Have fun with your preparations.

I like having potato wedges with my pizza or how about hot wings?
I was thinking of Crazy bread, like Little Cesar's serves. That's good stuff. They used to have crazy sauce, but a type of tomato/meat spaghetti sauce works okay. Maybe a salad would work as a side dish with Greek feta cheese and black olives?
I didn't even think of breadsticks!!! My dad is brewing the beer, so that wont be a problem either!
