"Heartbreak Hotel". My mother remembers hearing that on the radio as a kid when it first came out.

I love Elvis! I was like 15 or something when he died and I cried and cried! While my niece was visiting (she's 3) all she wanted us to do was put in the DVD "Blue Hawaii." She knows all the songs! LOL!!!
My father used to sing Elvis songs to me as a little girl and my favorite one was "Love Me Tender." To this day, when I hear that song, I think of my father!
Elvis was amazing!
I adore "Always on my mind", its a real tear jerker and it reminds me to say the things i need to say to the ones i love while i am here
I tell you what, they don't make them like they used to. Nobody can replace Elvis, the King of Rock. He had the most beautiful voice. It's so sad how he went downhill towards the end. I try to just remember him from his good days.
I like a lot of his songs but Jailhouse Rock was one of my favorite songs.
A hunka hunka burning love, of course!!! :-D
A few of my other favorites are Suspicious Minds, Devil In Disguise, Hound Dog, Let Me Be Your Teddy Bear, Jailhouse Rock, Can't Help Falling In Love, and Kentucky Rain. And of course, I LOVE all his gospel songs; he had an amazing voice to sing them!
But Burning Love is by far my favorite Elvis song. In fact, I'm listening to it on my iTunes right now, lol!
thats a great song to forgot that one
Flaming Star by Elvis is on youtube!

How Great Thou Art
"Flaming Star" - don`t shine on me, Flaming Star,
there`s a lot of living I gotta do.....
I heard it a few times and could never find it again but it got stuck in my mind. The lonesome cowboy who is thinking about death and how much loving and living he still has to do.
"If I can dream". I said the title wrong. I said "Tell me why" but it was "If I can dream" Love that song! :)
Amazing Grace, and American Trilogy
Guys, my grandma loved Elvis so much she asked that his song "How Great Thou Art" be sung at her funeral. When she was dying, she kept listening to that song over and over. Now I get chocked up when I hear it because I think of her.
I forgot about "Love me tender".
AJ, a hunk of burning love? Lol
My husband has the old eight tracks and records of Elvis from his Mom...she loved him so much...I love Love Me Tender...How about All Shook Up and Jailhouse Rock....and Burning Love...Heartbreak Hotel....

In the Ghetto makes me so sad. So sad.
I think, Love Me Tender.
Great topic, Cherie!
Gosh, I have so many favorites! What DON'T I like? Let's see, I like "Always on my mind", I heard he wrote that for Priscilla, it's so sad. He truly loved her. Um, I like "Can't help falling in love", "In the Ghetto", "I did it my way", "Tell me why", and of course I loved all his gospel songs, especially "Amazing grace" and "How great Thou art".
I have his whole collection of albums. :)
