My favorite was not on the list.
I love Carnations, I love how they look and I love the smell. They also bring back fond memories of my graduation from the 8th grade, that was a special day for me.
I guess my second choice is the Rose, especially the deep, red ones that have the terrific fragrance, you can't beat them.
I'm blessed to be a volunteer at our local conservatory. That way I get to work behind the scenes with the flowers in the greenhouse. It's an awesome experience. (except when picking mealies and dead flower heads off the azaleas)
Someone here may know already, but Azaleas are high maintenance, even for professional growers.
(inserts shameless plea for people to check out her flower photos)
Growing up in SD, I remember the lilacs, with the bouquets all over the house. Like flmagi, can't grow them here in FL, so really miss them, even though it's been a lot of years. Maybe it's the memories we miss as much as the flowers??
Next favorite is gardenia, jasmine, orange blossom, magnolia ...........
TULIPS because they stand strong and come in bold beauthful colors.
Poppies Poppies....Running through the poppies getting closer to the wizzard who knows all and grants all wishes...Sound familure?
Sweet Peas and Wisteria are among my favorites. But of course..... I do love them all!
Lilacs! Really all wild flowers. I just put in 3 Korean dwarf double bloom Lilacs bushes.
I like flowers that smell. Have you noticed that flowers now don't smell?
I bring flowers every week to my mom and the just don't smell!
Terry
Daisies remind me of sunshine and warm weather!
I said roses but I love all kinds of flowers. I love lilacs too! I have a lilac bush in my yard and just the smell of them...ahhh.
halbashes, I love the Easter lily, too. :)
My favorite flower is the Easter lily.
carnations and tulips for me
Lilacs are my all time favorite, but I haven't seen or smelled one in over 30 years, since I've been in Florida. We can't grow them here. I have such great memories of the Lilacs in New York. Next, I guess would be Roses and passion flower, Birds of Paradise......so many.
My mother's favorites are carnations too! :-)
Out of the ones listed, roses. BUT, my absolute favorite is carnations.
As far as my absolute favorite? That I don't know. I like a number of flowers equally.
Roses if it weren't for the thorns. They come in a variety of colors. I like the more "wild" looking varieties that open up all the way.
I also like wildflowers. Purple coneflowers are high up on my list.
I put heather because i actually love wild flowers and I think heather is one,,,I have a Lilac bush that I totally love it is my first sign of spring.....wish they bloomed all year smells so pretty.
Well, hope that everyone's watching their spelling and grammar. We wouldn't want to get fussed at!! LMAO
Only joking, everybody!! =D Anyway, I didn't see my choices up there! My favorite flowers are lilacs and wisteria!
I love roses-they are just beautiful.
Impossible to choose - there are so many. Roses, of course, it would be churlish not to like roses. Gardenias too. Liliacs, daffodils, sweet peas, lilies, sunflowers, I could go on and on...
I entered roses because they are my favorite out of that group. My all time favorite flower is the calla lily. I like all lilies to be quite honest.
Daisies, wild and free!!!
I love roses, because they are very beautiful. Just looking at them makes me happy and cheerful.
I tried to add more flowers but the program glitched. So, if it's something else, just jot it down in your response!
I love roses. They are so beautiful and almost make me cry. I love Daisies too - my second favoritie!
