halloween witch?
I am dressing up as a witch tonight at my bbq,no one knows what i am up to,.I thought it was going to be a family affair,but now some extra people are coming that are shy and another one that i dont know at all.Should i still do it? This is my 1st attempt at halloween myself,although i always give the neighbour kids the treats,but if i dress up would this scare them?So theres 2 questions here,no make it 3,or am to old to do this??
Just got the dress its a medievil stretchy velvet,got it from the opportunity shop,they dung me $20 for it becuse its a designer label.well pardon me!! Got long fake nails with cobwebs painted on them.Couldnt find any tatooes,have been to so many shops in the last 2 days!! Anyway thanks for all the imput for a 1st time WITCH will post photos as soon as my p/c is fixed,i not on my at the moment.My halloween is tonight!! So thanks again and i will let you know how it all went @ witchy poos first halloween.AAHHH~~~~~~~~~~~
it's your party dress the way you like.. when i wa s married my ex went all out for halloween.. and we figured if we didnt scare the bejesus out of at least 2 or 3 kids we didnt do a good job...have to admit it was fun watching them little kids just a screaming and running....lol
forgot to add -- temporary tattoos! you can put a spider on your cheek, a bat on your hand, whatever!
i don't do too much, the little ones get scared, but super red lips, big fake eyelashes (and they sell great ones for witches -- all kinds of crazy to pick from!) and dark green eyeshadow. green fingernails! i do a long black wig, medium length dress with orange and black stripe stockings, and hat.
i think it is so fun when the adults get into it, and as long as its not too scary, the kids absolutely love it!

i am also dressing up as a witch! just don't make your face make up too scary, and you should be okay with the kids. they hate the dark color lipstick, find that scary, so i go super red! yes, do it! that is what is fun about halloween! i hate it when i go places on halloween and hardly anyone is dressed up, and the kids love to see adults get in the spirit.
Hmmm good question(s). When you greet the smaller children, maybe remove your mask. Are the extra people adults? The shy one? Or is the shy one a child? That may help me post some more thoughts ... C~
