I enjoy intelligent and insightful exchanges from differing perspectives. But, when the topics of discussion digress... only to become incendiary, vitriolic attacks, the commentaries are reduced to being boring and silly squabbles. I would hope that people could disagree without being disagreeable... and stay on topic.
yeah Current Events is a little dog-eat-dog, but it's fascinating if people could stay civil...too much to hope for? thought so. Dam*n.

I had started to read and post on the CE forum and it didn't go very well. I like to hear how others think and like to share my opinion. I don't like it to get personal. No one is bad for how they believe. Even when I completely disagree with someone, I can appreciate what they have to say and how they got to that conclusion. Just my thoughts.
