Yeah have 2 drinks and let him rip!! I like my own cooking best!!
Im all for it, but now im not working i must say hubby gets a bit miffed that i like to do it all now..mm maybe i should just sit back with a stiff drink and say go for it..Lol but no i like to do it all now im home, he works hard to support us :)
Swampcritter---- I could make one or two of my famous "man pleaser" recipes and you'd be begging me to join you in the kitchen! . . . or so I've been told by one pleased man (the husband). ( . . . I should probably mention though that he isn't too picky . . .)
Aaww Swampy are you teritorial?? LOL I could train you to shop with getting sick LOL are you up for it???
Swampy gets motion sick and even a touch claustrophobic when shopping, so its a good idea to keep him out of crowded malls. The more familiar he is with the surrounding, though, the easier it is to handle.
Now, as for the cooking, Swampy may not ever let a woman into his kitchen.
It could be. However . . . we spend plenty of time together already . . . I'm trying on bathing suits alone!!! LOL
There was a survey done at a shopping centre and as men entered they were asked if they would like to take part in this survey.Well there blood pressure was taken when they entered and there blood pressure was slightly raised, when they were leaving it went back to normal..So the majority of men got slightly stressed at thought of shopping.
Well i am proud to annocounce LOL that i have trained my male to go GIRL shopping!! Now he actually likes it,he talks to the women in the stores and has a lovely time while i am browsing or trying on clothes!! He even get me different things to try as well. sometimes he stays home while i cruise the shops!! So if i wrote a book on training males to go shopping, clothes or food do you think it would be a best seller !! LOL
I do the cooking at our house as I like things to taste good. ha ha. DH is not really into it and I am, so it works. I also do the dishes after--------- he plays with the kids while I'm doing dishes and hence, I take a really LONG time doing them. That also works for me. I also tend to be the one to clean most of everything . . . and help with that would be welcome! I'm picky------- but would get over it fast if it meant I wouldn't always have to do it. Anyway, I do have my weekly honey do list that he will complete, so I'll settle for that.
Shopping-------- he acts like it is killing him so for a more pleasant experience for myself, I leave him at home.
he will cook and clean but i dont want him to go shopping with me...i always feel so rushed!!!!....lol
I don't think it's a gender issue either.
My bf cooks & cleans. The only issue is shopping.. He insists that we start in the men's section.
But then my bf is kinda guido and a neat freak so that's probably why. lol :D
I love having a bloke cook and clean and go shopping. I don't think it is a gender issue. Many blokes have to do it on their own. I personally hate shopping so if a man wants to go shopping for me instead I say Go for it!
I hate to cook and to shop, fortunately my husband likes both. Works for me!
i agree with april...cooking isn't very feminine. i mean look at gordon ramsey. one tough man who can cook. lol
hubby loves to cook, we alternate days. the cleaning...he does "man" cleaning which means the wife goes behind him doing it the proper way so it's actually clean....
he HATES shopping. hates it. he does all his shopping online. i take mom shopping.
I'm not sure it's necessarily feminine to cook, etc., after all, some of the best chefs are men! I would love it if mine would cook more often, although he does help with cleaning. I don't think I'd want to do "girl shopping" with him though. He's a typical man and doesn't like to shop. When he needs something, he goes in, gets it and is out in like 15 minutes, lol.
I am all for sharing the cooking and cleaning..I am not a fan of shopping and would not want to torture him....lol
my DH is not working and is staying home to take care of our daughter. I insist he does the cooking and cleaning. I do help but I insist he does majority of it! I had to all the years I was a housewife and if he came home to a dirty house then he would complain all night!
Now I come home to one and don't have the right to say anything... funny how the roles reverse and they now see what we go through!
I love the idea of sharing the cooking and housework, though I don't really want to take my bf along shopping. I know he'd be bored. Though he does help cook, we're learning together and he always helps to clean some. :)
It's nice...I would love it. It doesn't happen too often in my relationship but it's nice when it does.
