Menopausal symptoms 15 years after completion

I reverted to menopausal symptoms eg hot flushes, tiredness, joint aches and pains, lack of motivation, depression approximately 15 years after completing the menopause.  My doctor has put me back on Premia 5 continuous which has relieved some of my feelings of lack of well being but I am still lethargic and suffer severe flushes.  Are there any dietary issues I should be addressing. I already take Efexor XP 300mg daily, Alapam 30mg daily and medication for high blood pressure, Aldomet 500mg night and morning; Atacand 16mg daily, Dapatabs 30mg daily and 1800mg Caltrate following a bone density test, Somac 2 x 40mg tablets daily for Barrett's Disease and have a yearly endoscopy.  Stress factors contribute to my general feeling of unwellness.  I suffer with fibromyalgia and have arthritis in the spine and knees.  I feel bogged down with medication which doesn't appear to getting me anywhere.  I walk about 1 km each morning and night.  The above symptoms are followed up regularly with tests to confirm that the diagnosed illnesses are evident.

Hi, Rosie,

I wonder what, if anything, changed in your life after completing menopause?

I think you should find a good doctor that you trust to evaluate possible interactions of your medications.  That is where I would start and see if you could possibly go off of as many as possible. Then I would invest in a finding a dietician that could help evalute what you are eating and how the foods made be affecting you.
