Period after 2 years

I got my period (full blast) after not having it for 2 years. I am menopausal. I went through invetro to have my son. Last Thursday I got my period. The more I am on my feet the more I bleed. I am seeing my OBGYN tomorrow afternoon. It is painful also. Has this happened to anyone before?

I will be 60 next month, my periods stopped 2 years ago this month. Out of the blue, tender breast, cramping and bam, a period. Very normal period for me. I just want people to know... it is possible. That being said, don't ignore symptoms. If bleeding persists, seek professional care.

I have seen my gp and have to see a gyno, but they still do not know why? So I still can't tell you any more. still a mistery? The blood work showed, MENOPAUSAL for sure. I do feel for you, but when I find out more will defineately contact you :)
This is so bad, and the wondering, is such a killer. You start to think the worst, but, what else are you suppose to think? It's so out of the blue. No one could undestand . But I DO. Please keep in touch. Will give you as much support that you need, any time, I'am here for you. please, you don't need to do this on your own. OK    TRISH

I am still bleeding, since last Thursday. I have seen OBGYN and they took blood work and I have to go for a sonogram on Friday and a possible biopsy. I am nervous, especially since I am still bleeding, heavy with clots. Thanks for responding. Good luck to you.

I am 52 and just like u I got a period, 32 months after menopause. Went and had an vaginal ultrasound, costly $300, but u get $220 back from medicare. Only run by women. My results of this was a fibroid. But, as yet have not seen the Gynaecologist. Will visit my GP on Tues 2/JUNE.
This was still very frightening. A very heavy period/clots lots. Your thoughts go wild  don't they? But only lasted 2 days. I am still very concerned. especially after menopause.

Please let me know how u went. :)  TRISH
