bleeding after menopause

I havent had my menstruation for 4 years now. Lately for a week( but not daily) I noticed slight brown spotting and then it stopped. I was very stressed though since I had problems at that time. Now I am worried because when I went to the bathroom I found a pinkish blood stain on my panty and on the tissue I used to wipe. Please help me understand this. Thank you.

I have read that sometimes the vaginal wall can become so dry after menopause, it may be irritated and could cause some spotting or light bleeding.  I would try some lubricant but definitely see a dr. as well.  It could be a more serious problem.  Best of luck!

i. am going through something similar. in the last three years, i have had 3-4 periods with the last one i would say has been over 2 years ago about a week ago when i went to the bathroom there was a little spot when i cleaned myself and it has done it everyday since. sometimes its a very small spot, and then the next time it is enough that it stains my panties. i have tried to research this on the internet but not really getting any answers. i didnt know if this was something normal or something i needed to check with my doctor. i hope you find some answers.

I would definitely make an appointment with a gyn to check this out, I could see it happening maybe a year after you have stopped bleeding, but four, I would get checked.

Hmmm, after four years of nothing, I think I would contact the dr for an appointment. Just to make sure everything is okay.
