Thank you for your response. I have taken the sage up to a month and less then two days at times of hot flashes with no face heat or allergic reaction for over two years, my flashes are every 6mo or so.This just started last month when not using sage and no normal symptoms of hotflashes, my bpood pressure in considered low , i do have thyoid issues that are being monitored because it fluctuates due to being under tremendous stress.
took sage after the second time my face did this and it relieve the symptom. I wll contact my doctor.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
For centuries common sage, or Salvia officinalis the Latin name, has been used as a reliable and safe natural herbal treatment for menopausal symptoms. Studies have shown that after three months of taking Sage, hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms can be improved greatly. Although there are no known side effects, the facial heat or redness can be due to allergy to sage. The facial heat can be a part of hot flashes. Consult your Doctor.
The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
