oh  help   I can't  find  anything that will help withmy  hot flashes and night sweats . I been  to the drs.  and he toldme  that  its something that I would have to live with and  the naturopathic  dr.  gave  alot of  stuff to take for  other things  that  I really didn't  need to go in for . I am  taking about   15  pills  a day  .Estro flash, Ultra fish oil,  evening primrose,Discorea  cream. I've been on them for about  4 days and  no change .Any  help please. I was thinking of  trying a  patch of  some sort but not  sure.

Vitex from the health food store has helped me tremendously.  Research it on line first so you know how to take it.  I have friends who have found soy isoflavones to be very helpful as well.  Encapsulated at the health food store also.  Good luck!

Dear Hot flashes,
I feel your sweat :) I suffer horribly from them too. Fish Oil ? all I ever got from fish oil was pimples and I'm 52 going on 53 next month. Right now I'm trying estroplus so far nothing is workingBut it has only been a few days. They say SSRI work(paxil, zoloft etc) well but you'll gain a ton of weight. I tried progesterone cream and that made me gain weight and hormones might make you bleed, that I don't want to mess with anymore since I've gone a full year without a period. I wish I knew what the answer was and there was a simple solution for this horrible dilema. I eat a ton of popcyles and use allot of ice pacs especially at night, it will help you get to sleep without waking abuptly sweating.

Good Luck
