weight gain

Since having a total hystorectomy in feb 2007 i am putting weight on even though i am not eating very much more. Because the surgeon damaged my left tube going to my left kidney i am on strong pain killers do you think that it might be because of them?

Oh gosh! That is what my doctor tells me! I just don't get it because I have been eating less than normal but I am still putting on weight! I wish there were some magic pill (with no side effects) that would magically make me slim! LOL! I guess it doesn't hurt to dream :-)

Have you seen your doctor to ask him if the pain meds is causing the weight gain? Don't feel bad, I'm gaining weight too for no reason at all :( I had a hysterectomy in Feb 2008.
