Hey, I'm a 60 year old women who is on Armour thyroid, and I am menopasal, I had a estradiol test, I believe it was 30 but should be 90 if I'm remembering right. Should I have a Progesterin test also? I read that Estriol is a good estrogene  suppliment to use, I guess its used vaginally is that right?  and it says I should use Progesterone along with it, do they have a progesteron that can be used vaginally? or is the cream good? sorry for all the questions, but I'm lost when it comes to hormone suppliment,  thank you for your time, deb

HI,
HRT of hormone supplements should be taken as per your Doctor’s instructions. Both estrogens and progesterone are available as vaginal tablets and creams. Also they can be taken orally or used as patches. Consult your Doctor.
